If that was supposed to be sarcastic because you could just use aim and IRc to talk to people... your thinking about it all wrong, this means that it is possible to tunnel games too.... and that is a pretty big deal...

in pictochat could I IM someone far away like in another state or is it that stupid shitty 100 feet radius thing?

if you tunnel it it could be anywhere.
ASLO: The MP: HUNTERS Demo was succesfulyl tunneled with ~100ms ping, and it ran smooth
