I thought Nintendo owners just wanted a DS for an all "Gaming" experience....

I see a major difference between an add-on (which in no way effects the main hardware and is not mandatory to purchase) and something built-in (which is one of my personal gripes with the PSP, I personally have no interest with it in my gaming device, especially when I see problems that should be resolved before adding some other stuff in it...like an MP3 player.)

But that's just me, it's nice for the people who want it, but not my cup of tea.

MP3's are stored Via Memory sticks, where the game saves.

You can store pics, MP3's, Videos, and Gamesaves on a memory stick. Also, some demos may be able to be go on a memory stick.

Maybe even emulators. Can you say GBA games on a PSP?

Also, this is good for homebrewers.

I could have told you that. And I have little interest having to deal with saving stuff on a memory stick of any sort for a handheld. I'd prefer that kind of crap stay in the console market.

Can you say GBA games on a PSP?

Nope, but I can say lawsuit.;)

Hehe. ;P

It's kind of hard to save to a disc though..

DS uses Carts, right? They have memory to save on them.

Yes they do.

(Which is a whole other problem I still have, but I'll keep that for another thread. I already derailed this one.:()

I thought Nintendo owners just wanted a DS for an all "Gaming" experience.... Thats the majority of them hough, who btw, not to sound ignorant, are very young and childish. I would love to see it though, being a musician and a big techie, just image the mods you could do on that thing to have it play roms or whatnot, even home brewed games. I will probably be importing one when they come out in Japan since they don't plan on putting it out over here.

They sell GBA flash carts for...errr..Roms. Up to 1gb in size I think. But they're damn expensive.

Here's my idea about how this should be done on DS. Remember GBA video? They could do that with high quality video and have touch screen play/lpause, stop, fast forward, and rewind buttons. A huge flaw with GAB video is that it was all kids shows. We could have fear factor, lost, and other shows for more mature audiences.
