Oh man, I really want this game, yet it doesn't seem to be getting much attention...especially for a major Nintendo icon like this.

I'm intrigued mainly because of its use of the bongos (although you can use the controller, but it's not nearly as much of a blast). It seems like a complete blast...especially in the boss battles. But I think the article pretty much speaks for itself.

Either way, is anyone else here looking forward to this game?

Wait so is this a 2-D or 3-D game? I thought from the E3 pics it was 2-D, but it sounds like 3-D, at least in places, from when they said the boss battles are from behind Donkey Kong. Anyway I'll probably pick it up after I pick up Donkey konga at some point. Once it goes down in price hopefully I'll get it when I have some more money. Heh I bought to many game in the past month though so it will be a while anyway.

When I played it at E3 last year, I got so frustrated I walked away. Very, very hard to control.

Hopefully they've fixed some of that since then.

The graphics are 3-D, but the game plays like a side-sroller (like Viewtiful Joe, for example).

looks good and unique. I didn't buy Donkey Konga (because I suck at it)but this game may make me buy a set of bongos. I like how they put all the actions on the bongo. I can't wait
