I haven't played this game for a while (it's my bros), but I just picked it up again yesterday, and damn, it is so much fun. A lot of people were skeptic about the single player component, but it shouldn't be looked down on at all. It is like Link to the Past on crack. Dungeons usually last about 45 minutes, there are tons of enemies (at some points in the game, the battles seem to resemble the Agent Smith battles from The Matrix movies, because of the abundance of enemies), and you can do quadruple the damage. I highly reccomend this game to any fan of Zelda and SNES games. Even people who might have not had a chance to play the older Zelda games may want to try this one out. This is definitely a sleeper hit of 2004.

It can't be a rip-off, if its the same company with the same basic intent to give people an old-school, Zelda feel to the game.

How can it be a rip of the SNES version when the only thing it shares with the SNES version is the top down view and the graphical style?

The story and gameplay itself are original...

...Besides, it's done by the same team that made Four Swords for the GBA...

Hm..yea i always wondered about that. IS it the same as the SNES version? never did play that one...but anyhow, this one rocked. I loved it and i wouldn't mind playing thru it again, if i had the time that is... :-D

No. A Link To The Past and Four Swords are two seperate adventures.

Now, the ORIGINAL Four Swords on the GBA was packaged as a multiplayer extra on the Link To The Past GBA port...That might be where some people are getting confused.

lol.
I never bought it. but I played it at EBgames and it was pretty fun. Multiplayer must suck. one person will kill everyone in the group and ruin everything

Actually it is rather hilarious, but I think you overestimated one player.

They released a limited edition demo disc that included the two NES games, the two N64 games, and a demo of Wind Waker on it if you passed certain criteria.

Those bastards denied me it when I re-subscribe to Nintendo Power because I used the wrong card. I EMailed them to fix it, but they besicly told me to fuck off.

I have not renewed Nintendo Power.

I didn't renew Nintendo Power, I just had enough games registered at nintendo.com to get it.

That disc gets more play time than all my other GC titles combined. :smt004

God is my english broken in my last post.

Anyway I don't buy games in the large number needed to qualify for a copy that way. So I figured I'd renew Nintendo Power. They screwed me.

Long story short that Mario Kart: DD book I got goes unused and I didn't renew my NP this year.
