Outrage Studios Closed

Developers of Descent and Alter Echo will have to work under a different banner. Some are rumored to have been outraged (ducks thrown objects)...
Mentioned in THQ's lengthy 2004 annual financial report, Outrage Studios was apparently shut down sometime during the last fiscal year, which ended on March 31st 2004. The closing was mentioned in passing in the nearly 100 page report in a section that also detailed other downsizing and restructuring that THQ had done during the past fiscal year. Outrage Studios' website is currently down, so it seems like the developer has indeed been shuttered, and that the employees have moved on to other projects.
