good god, my drive is getting out of control.
it started a few years ago, on my old rig.
whenever i powered it up, it'll open up automatically. i didnt care then.
i salvaged it over to my new rig, and it does the same.
it still read disks, so i was happy, although i wanted one with a black bezel.
last month, it started having trouble with disks. i would put on in. autoplay would start up. it ejects.
getting it to read the HL2 disk was a bitch. it would take 5 or 6 tries before it would stay in.
and now i'm installing Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, and right when i need to put Disk 3 in, BOOM! it fucks up.
i put it in. it reads it. it resumes installation. it ejects.
and it would do shit. then there was an error reading some file, saying my HD was full or something, even though i have 60+ gigs left.
i need a new DVD drive badly. this is gonna be a long week until christmas.
