I started watching this show during the 4th season. Rented the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD. Truly a great show. Anyone else watch it?

More and more people are standing up and saying this is the most overrated show on television.
I think this is quite simply the best television drama EVER. The writing is so good, the acting is SUPERB, and the cinematography is excellent. I think what I like most about this show, is that they don't tie all loose ends up. They trick you with editing making you think one thing will happen and something else does. The best part is it's not running itself into the ground by pushing out 23 episodes on schedule. They leave you wanting more. This should be the LAST season coming up, unless they offer a BOATLOAD of money to the creator and Gandolfini. I think ending it this season is the way to go. But, does Tony get whacked? Jailed? Witness protection? Gonna be a good final season.

I think it's on of the worst, most overrated shows going.
Much in the same boat as "Sex In The City".
In my opinion the only worth watching series HBO has ever had in terms of being consistently good were "Oz" and now "Six Feet
Under".
So I say everyone needs to go and pick up those on dvd, because to me "Oz" beats out "The Sopranos" in acting, writing, character
development as does "Six Feet Under".
But all this was my opinion.
As I never watched a single ep of "Friends" or "Everybody Loves Raymond" and those two shows are/were the top rated on tv.
I have a simply philosophy *if I like it,I like it and I can't explain why.*
Which is why to me even to this date "Married With Children" still remains as one of my top 10 TV shows ever.
