I just got own by the beta application. I went camping Thu morning and about 2:00pm I got the WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW Online Beta application by email. Got back tonight, and We're sorry, but the enrollment period for this online beta test has ended.
All beta tester positions for this beta program have already been selected. We appreciate your interest.
Shoot, oh well you can't win them all.

It's no biggy. I just think it was funny.

Well, maybe some kid who loves the WWE got in because I didn't, so I'm happy for the kid, He will make a better tester then me.

Sony ask you to participate in it. They are the ones that run it.

I got accepted. Ok Beta ends 8/20/04, the game is expected to arrive 8/12, wow 8 whole days of testing!

I got mu disc Friday, but was gone all weekend. So it starts on 8/20? I thought it ended then. How long does it go til?

Not quite sure. IGN stated the 8/20 start date (saying it was delayed from the previous date, and was to start then).

I dunno if the beta is still going on, but IGN has confirmed that Online will indeed make it into the final game. So far, one-on-one is confirmed. Nice!

I got mine, but because of my job hours so far all I've been able to do is create a character. There was nobody online to fight. Maybe this weekend.

So those that got to do the Beta testing what did you think? Myself I thought it was pretty good. I'm a button-masher for the most part with games like this, but I won about half the matches I had.

I did see only one glitch durring the whole time. Somehow one of my opponents managed to make his wrestler invisible, all you could see of his wrestler was his shadow. I managed to put a good beating on him before he dropped out of the game.
