View Full Version : Gamer Advisory Panel?

Okay, I got this email today from Playstation about being picked for some sort of Gamer Advisory Panel. Anyone else get this? It says this won't insure that I get to beta anything, but I figured it couldn't hurt, so I signed up.

No, I didn't get the e-mail but do you have to be registered to their site to get it?

I'm a little confused...

I signed up to the Playstation Underground (yeah, that's what they call it) when I got my online module a few months ago (although after the disaster that was RE online, I haven't been online since), so probably yeah you have to at least sign up there for them to know you.

Yeah I signed up about a year ago. They have some contests where you can win prizes, and I got a lot of demos in the mail. You sometimes get BETAS too. You also get this little binder thing in the mail which is pretty cool, and you get a certificate.

Demos are cool... I doubt if I'd get beta, as I'm not in their usual age perimeters....

i use to belong to the playstation underground, but the last demo disk i ever got from them had final fantasy x on it. which was a nice pleasant surprise. i wonder why i never got anything else.

if your on that list you usually get sent all of the beta emails. you just gotta be quick and be one of the lucky 4000 or so.

Yea, i got picked to join up over a year ago. So far they havent asked me to beta test anything, which is really pissing me off.

Well, I beta tested Everquest Online Adventures. I keep getting Official Playstation Magazine in the mail because I'm on the GAP...but it's like 4 months old....I just got April's issue this week =/

yeah same with a friend of mine, he opened the mailbox and pulled that out and just stood there.

I'm a member. I take all the surveys and receive demos. It's pretty cool.
