You loved our new Ballistix ultra high-performance memory line, with its high speeds, low latencies, and attention-getting gold-tone heat spreaders. Critics raved (http://www.crucial.com/ballistix/content.asp?key=awards), Crucial rejoiced. It seemed like a story with a happy ending. But we couldn't leave well enough alone-we just HAD to take it a step further. Introducing Ballistix Tracer memory, a piece of high-performance eye candy that will have gamers "ooohhing" and modders "aaahhing." With its black PCB, black integrated heat spreaders, two rows of activity-indicating LEDs, and ground effects lights, Ballistix Tracer modules really add flash appeal to your rig.

They only make it in 4000 and 5300, which is not needed, and it is overpriced. It does look cool though.

3200 is STILL overkill... and im getting another half a gig of that soon. decent(mushkin blue) 256 sticks are <$60 now.

Thats overpriced and pointless. if only for the speed. besides, your ram is usually blocked by the CD bays/power suply/cables depending on the layout of your case.

Bah even the Corsair memory modules got more lighting than that, and serve a more useful purpose :p
