The recent relese of the DS has left many hand held gamers shocked and saddened. Somewhere along the way Nintendo seems to have lost its way in the gaming world.... it all went down after the N64. However, we still had hope in the form of their handhelds. But now.. even the DS has dissapointed us. So our only hope is with the PSP. I truly hope it works out for Sony as its their firt handheld and our last hope in the portable entertainment world of gaming.

We should all feel so lucky to have one of the members from the board of directors for Nintendo to be posting on our site. To think with all the work he has to do at Nintendo he still has spare time to come post here and tell us all how big a fuilure Nintendo is in the gaming world. Everyone say thank you!

Great? Outside of Feel the Magic and a rehash of Mario 64 there's nothing on the DS worth getting.

*Agrees*
They should've at least waited till Feb. to start releasing it. Then we would have Wrioware, VJ, and stuff.

Launch is never great. You expect the PSP to be an orgasm in your hand when you fire up that copy of MGS: Ac!d? Well expect to be let down.
apparently mgs:acid is a rather good game, i preordered a DS in the uk but i probably wont ever play it

Warioware is the perfect game for the DS. I played it at Circuit City the other day, it was fun.

Eh? The 64's launch was strong, as was the Xbox's ( Halo? ) SNES, Dreamcast, NES. stop trying to cushion the blow for Nintendo. The PSP has alot of games that are shaping up to be pretty solid, not to mention they're a little higher then the 5 or 6 the DS had.

I'll be waiting until a developer to make an innovative game with use of two screens. Until then no DS for me.
Sorry but using a second screen as a menu/map doesn't cut it folks. Its almost like if the DS is becoming gimmicky.

I think the PSP will fail. Low battery and the square button thing will end up hurting it

How many will be good?
No console or system has had more than a couple good games at launch. PSP will be no different.

If basically all you play is sports and racing games (which consists of half of their entire launch).
(And as for the launch in general, IMO - Around 4-5 or so of the roughly 10 PSP titles I seem to have any sort of interest in are apart of this launch...so good job on that part. But overall given the amount of titles - it's overflooded with, as I said before, sports and racing titles. But not bad otherwise - in all honesty, quite good with titles like MGA and Darstalkers)

Actually I'll go down the list and express my intrest level...
# Ape Escape: On the Loose, Sony Computer Entertainment America
Ape Esacpe was a fun PSX game. I'd like to play this

# Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower, Capcom
Never heard of it. I'll have to look it up.
# Dynasty Warriors, KOEI
I'm not into hack and slash
# FIFA 2005, Electronic Arts
After "Winning 11" FIFA can suck it
# Gretzky NHL, Sony Computer Entertainment America
Sports + Sony = Bad since 1998
# Lumines, Ubisoft
Another I have yet to hear of
# Metal Gear Acid, Konami
The one I am most intrested in
# MLB, Sony Computer Entertainment America
See Gretzky

# NBA Street Showdown, Electronic Arts
Street rocks. Should be good.
# Need for Speed Rivals, Electronic Arts
Need For Speed = ZzZz
