Has anyone seen this film yet? I'm gonna see it this week and it looks pretty good. I'm just hoping it wont be an overhyped dissapointment.

Has anyone seen this film yet? I'm gonna see it this week and it looks pretty good. I'm just hoping it wont be an overhyped dissapointment.This is a superb film, topping Spider-Man 2 as the best film I've seen this year. I love this film because of the unique approach it takes as an adaptation taking concepts suggested by Isaac Asmirov's books, and adds its own original flare. This film really shines, in that the characters feel real and human and like an actual person, especially Will Smith's character, I should also mention he gives an amazing performance, as well as Sonny. Will Smith's extremely short comedic bits blend into the film well. The CGI is just mindblowing, definitely looks extremely realistic. The film is intelligent science fiction at its best. Alex Proyas may have his best film so far, in other words this is one of the best sci-fi films ever.

Ahh thanks MusicFan, It looked pretty good from the trailers but Will Smith's films just seem to be a total hit or a total miss. Guess he's back on track for the Summer Hits :-D

I saw a special for it on MTV2. The interviewed Will Smith and stuff. I couldn't have cared less about that, but what was cool was they showed a full 10-minute scene from the flick. Of course, I couldn't get a true feel for the movie, but it looked good. I loved the cinematography. I'll probably check it out, maybe this weekend.

yeah the movie didnt really look like it would be good but i liked it. my dads friend went with us and he said "wow i didnt expect to like that movie as much as i did, i thought it would be silly".

Ive been hearing a lot of good things about this movie. First ill be going to see the Borne Supremecy, then this movie.

All of these good reviews are proving many people wrong. I, Robot is definitely a great summer movie. I agree with MusicFan's review on this one.

I'm glad I saw this film. It is the best film I've seen this year, I left the theatre with even more satisfaction than after Spiderman2. It has comedy, action, mystery and after the film it even makes ya think. MusicFan was on the money with his review and I urge everyone to see it. If you don't totally like it I think even the naysayers will confess that it wasn't bad.
