Anyone else looking forward to this game? I loved Fight Night 2k4 and this one just looks like a step forward. I'm picking it up for XBOX.

I'll probably get it, but I'd like to know if it has Widescreen support before I rush off to the store.

I'm just gonna stick with Fight Night 2K4.

I don't play it that much anymore though. I have to buy a lot of other games, plus look into saving money for my PSP. :(

Plus my brother is an anti-EA fucker now. He won't buy anything with the word EA on it...... So it looks like I'll be playing Timesplitters 3 online, because he won't play them either. What a dick.

I am loving Fight Night Round 2. The cut man element is cool. The face detail is amazingly real. I have played some great online fights. The controls are improved, the haymakers ROCK. I found a glitch in that when you fight online, they don't show you the winner cut scene, just the reaction from the loser or winner. You never hear...and the winner is..blah blah.
The game is sweet, let's fight online bitches.

I found a glitch in the gameplay on Fight Night Round II for Gamecube (haven't played on the other two systems yet). I am playing on the medium difficulty settings with TKO's on mind you and I have found that all I have to do is bust the opponent in the face with a right hook hay maker repeatedly and as fast as possible and I can go so far as to tko them in the first round. If you start the match with a quick and immediate right uppercut hay maker sometimes you can get an instant knock down with one punch at the top of the fight. If I had online capabilities on my PS2 Scot I'd haymaker you to the mat but I never got into the online gaming thing. Maybe next gen consoles I'll take that progressive leap into online battle.
