What is going on here? I've tried playing Halo on PC, some music files on my comp and no sound from anything really.
Any fixes? (Don't want to reboot, got about 1 million points on this one game I'm playing. :-D

Open the master volume control.
Make sure nothing is on mute, and everything is all the way up.

Hopefully your sound card drivers are installed...
Check to make sure the speakers are plugged into the right places, it is generally color coded.

Master Volume Control
is the speaker icon in the bottom right corner
right click it
select open volume control
check to see it isnt muted, or turned down.

Lol, My sound drivers got fucked up, so I reinstalled them. Now I can't use the Master Volume control.

Well none of them are on mute, but Matrix how do you reinstall something...I don't have a CD...seeing as it came built into the PC.
Do I need to download it off the programs site again?

When you uninstall drivers from the device manager, and restart, Windows reinstalls their drivers for the device.

Is your monitor plugged in?
Nah. He never keeps that useless thing in. He plugs his PC video output directly into his brain for the ultimate visual experience.
