K every hour or 30 minutes or 5 minutes. My cable modem goes offline for no reason at all. Which is causes deep and passionate anger to flow through me when playing an online game. This is already out 2nd modem.

and as I type this the lights that say Online just went out and I cried a little. Is there something I can do or should I just yell very loudly at my cable provider to give me a new one?

Do you have a router? If so, have you tried it without the router between your computer and the cable modem?

If not, then yes, yell at your cable provider. Its not your computer.

it could be spyware... was happening to me after my bro downloaded the ORIGINAL kazaa on our computer with me knowing... viruses and all. so ya always scan for adware/viruses first thing.
