Just got it in the mail today...pre-ordered it awhile back I guess. Will post thoughts, looks like it might give "Feel the Magic" some competition.

My brother is getting it today. I'll return feedback by the end of the night.

I should also be getting it later tonight...since my parents got me the game (along with RE4 and LOZ: Minish Cap) for Valentine's Day.

Wow! They actually get you things for Valentine's Day? That is pretty cool.

Let me know how it is, I'm really considering picking it up.

So far this game has really made the best use of the double screens. It is similar to Feel the Magic but with about 150 more mini games to boost. I've only played it for about 30 minutes, but I really like the presentation and feel of the game thus far. It's a little childish, but none the less it's unique and creative. More later...

I think it's something we've just started, to be honest. Because I don't remember having gotten gifts (for valentine's day) in the past (or I just wasn't paying attention very well).

But anyways, if I get it tonight, I'll post my impressions (and then play it in study hall tommorow and give a better hands-on feel of it)

I got it.

So far it's alright. It's yet to be better then the first one and i'm hoping they use the D pad and buttons more. The touch screen can get a little repative ( sp? )

Random doesn't even begin to describe this game.

That's all I can say for the moment. And it's fun, too. A little too repetative (like N said) but still fun.

There's a few good things and a few problems that are bugging me.

Problem: I beat it already

Problem: I was promised much more mini-games and honestly it dosen't look like it so far. I've beaten the third bear ( like in the first game ) and I know there's most likely something else to unlock but unless it's 50+ minigames i'm not going to be impressed

Problem: The blow minigames fucking blow.

Problem: When I fail a minigame i'd like to try it again, just moving on makes me forget it and therefore I don't think how to solve it. Took me forever to figure out the animal cage capture one

Good: This game is an excellent attention grabber at any time. It autosaves so wether it's five minutes or thirty you can still have fun

Good: Alot of the minigames really get you thinking and increases your reaction time

Good: It's pretty random and not lame random, funny random.

How would you compare it to those of us who don't have any other Wario Ware game? (I have the GBA demo from that first Gamecube demo disc they released, but that's it...I've never played the full game on any system.)

Coming from a guy who has never played/owned any of the previous Wario Ware, I think this is a pretty fun game. After having played it some more today in school, I'm starting to see a nice variety of games - whether rubbing, poking, or whatnot (I haven't tried any of the mic games yet though).

I think it's worth a buy...it reminds me of FTM - but just with more mini-games (and a seemingly better variety)

Well i've heard alot of refrences to FTM but i've never played it. Basically this game is a bunch of mini-games crammed into one cart. There's so many random things to do and they come at you pretty fast. One minute you're rubbing away sand to reveal a coin and in literally 3 seconds you're doing chin ups using the touch pad to move the guy up and down. The games are pretty basic, but some can be a bit tricky to figure out. The weird thing about them though is that they're strangely addictive. You'll play a few that you actually want to play again, and again, and then you'll find yourself playing for hours doing generally the same thing.

For me-- this is EXACTLY the type of game I want for a handheld system. If I have the time to sit and play for hours I might as well be home and playing a console. If I want to pick something up, I want it to be something that will be a fun distraction, quick to get into and quick to get out of. That's why the "mini-game" idea is so appealing to me for a handheld system.

Well, I've played through every mini-game so far (although it honestly didn't feel like it) and unlocked most of the souveniers (sp?) and I have to admit, this game was pretty fun. (Pyoro T rules, for those who have played that mini-game) It's definately great for quick-fix gaming and worth checking out.

It's okay. I got it yesterday. I fucking hate the cinematics! They are long, boring, and stupid. The game is wicked easy, I beat it in 2 hours and had no problems. When you actualy get past the long cinematic you play like 10 micro games. Levels are short, the game is easy, the cinematics are long and sucky, and the game is repatative

I see the 10 microgames after the cinematic as like playing the game on easy...you have to do it again and try and get up past 30 or so points for a challenge or go straight to the album and try out the mini-games individually.

I did pick up this game earlier this week, and I have already opened up all of the characters (what you would call "beating the game.") I still haven't gone through and gotten all of the souvineers nor is my album full, and I do like the game. It's great to just be able to pick it up and go through the games. Of course, one time it hurt, I was showing my gf the rubbing game where you pet the dog/cat/egg, and got up to something like 211 before dying. It was getting a little old, I started doing it with my eyes closed around 160...;P

The annoying thing is that absolutely NOTHING happens for getting the high, except maybe a ego boost.

All I've got left since picking it up at release is finishing the Gold Crowns in the album, and getting the bonus video for having Twisted in the GBA slot at the same time. Which is going to be "fun" in the case of the crowns, since I suck at Ashley's boss level (the planet/shooter dragging thing). I keep coming up with 6/7 I need for the medal. >_<

Ashleys song is the win though

Who's the girl next door living in the haunted mansion?
(You better learn my name 'cause I am) ASHLEY!
She knows the darkest spells and she brews the meanest potions
(You might be the ingredient I seek)

Don't let yourself be fooled by her innocent demeanor
(You should be afraid of the great) ASHLEY!
She doesn't play with dolls, and she never combs her hair
(Who has time for girly things like that?)

(Eye of newt, I cast a hex on you)
(Grandma's wig, this will make you big)
(Kitten Spitz, still your pants won't fits!
(Pantalones Giganticus! Oh no, not again!)

She could rule the world, and still finish all her homework
(Everyone knows I'm the greatest) ASHLEY!
You better watch your step or she'll cast a spell on you
(I turned my teacher into a spoon)

(I must refer to my spellbook, and yes it's true,
I don't have as many friends as you.
But I think you're nice, and maybe we could be friends
And if you say no, you're toast)

Who's the girl next door living in the haunted mansion?
(You better learn my name 'cause I am) ASHLEY!
Just remember this when you see her on the street
(I'm the cruelest girl you'll ever meet)

Pwnage.

Ashley's cool, definitely, but her levels destroy me. Nice to implement the dragging, but sometimes it just hurts to keep up to speed for some of the medal record requirements.

I stuck it out though, and now have all gold crowns. What'd I get? A thing that whistles when I blow on the mic. Meh. I like the idea of where they were going with the souvenirs, but for the most part, they sucked. Hopefully the ones in Twisted are better, or whatever ones might pop up in future iterations of WW.

My recent victories have also inspired me to go back and finally finish getting all the medals in the original GBA version. Onward and upward.
