Tivo BSOD

My tivo is messed up. All i see if a black screen when i try to watch live tv... it will play the saved things normally though, and it will go through the guides and everything. When i changed to "stero" mode for the input on the tv I can watch tv, but of course tivo doesn't work, i think tivo needs to be on video 2, which as i said is a black screen. Can anyone help?

You make sure all the cables are working and connected?

Yeah, sounds like a wire was knocked out of place.

ya all the cables appear to be in... I mean, the Tivo clicker is working, the tv is working when on stero mode, but when in video 2 mode(which I think is for watching tv with the tivo) only the tivo works, but a black screen. I can still watch the tivo saved on the tivo, but I'm not getting live tv in video 2. I'm noobular with this stuff but I think that makes sense... sort of.

Plug the cables that are going from your outside cable to the TiVo into something else, like a VCR. See if you still get a picture.

It's possible that those cables are bad. You'd still be able to see the TiVo stuff (UI, saved programs) but the live TV feed going into the TiVo is what's causing your problem.
