Galaga is by far my favorite arcade game. Whenever I see a Galaga machine at a foreign arcade, I'm guaranteed to be pumping quarters and quarters into it. I love the gameplay of it. The fludity of the game is very smooth. Dodging and shooting the enemies at the same time almost seems elegant to me. It is all an arrangement of moves, shoots, and doges to me. That is why I love this game.

Galaga is the shit man. At the OOB arcade, I stayed there playing for 10 minutes, without losing all my lives, and got the hi-score. Good stuff man. I love playing it on Mame too. It's so simple, Yet it owns so much.

I think I'm going to get the Namco Classics Collection for Gamecube. It has a pretty good collection of games, plus it has two versions of Galaga.

My dad, whenever I go to an arcade (which is barely ever) my dad just sits at that Galaga/Ms Pac Man machine and plays Galaga. But nothing can EVER touch Burger Time :D

my local arcade was still open till late 1999, i have no idea how they made money because by that time it was always empty. that was one of the few games worth playing there that still worked.

i always had the top score on that game, and i frigging loved it.

I LOVE that game. My dad got the high score at Funspot in NH and we got a free meal at their bar.
