You guys want to read a great play about Youth and angst and growing up in the prison that is America's concept of suburbs, read the play Suburbia by Eric Bogosian. I'm in a production of it right now as the character Jeff and it is a wickedly cool play.

Bogosian is not Brett Easton Ellis. Thank God! Talk Radio is a great play and one for the few Oliver Stone films I like.

There's a movie of it with Giovanni Ribbisi, Steve Zahn, and Parker Posey, among others...but I recommend just reading the play it's far superior to the film.
