I was happy to see a few international clubs mentioned earlier and I was just curious if any of you are fans of a team that had been relegated before? My favorite club is 1.FC Koln (Cologne) but they keep jumping from the 1.Bundesliga to the 2.Bundesliga. It really gets annoying as Bundesliga games are hard enough to catch on tv. But 2nd Bundesliga games are near impossible and I end up having to listen to it streamed online.

I support Arsenal, so relegation really hasn't been a problem.

As a Crystal Palace supporter relegation is a constant threat. Palace did get promoted last season but that was only through play offs. In my view they are likely to be relagated again but who knows?
As for being safe with Arsenal don't be so sure. There is only one team that has never been relegated from the first division/premier league in English soccer history and that is Everton!
My favorite team Blackburn Rovers was relegated from the FA Premiership not long after winning the league a few years back. As a result I got a lot less coverage of them and kind of stopped caring those years, but now they're back and I'm following them again closely. They were somewhat threatened again with relegation last year but they managed. I'm really disappointed they haven't been able to pick up ANY transfers this past offseason. I was pulling for Brian McBride to go there but it wasn't meant to be apparently. I don't know what the cards hold for them now.
