View Full Version : Just got MLB 2k5
I'm impressed. The way things are presented is unreal. I've never been a fan of the ESPN (Sega Sports) games but this one has me. I had to get it because it was only twenty bucks compared to MVP which was fifty. I still haven't played it online though. If anyone has it, post here, I'd like to play someone.
agn, I hope you get this because I don't think I'm going to get MVP.

Oh well. ESPN is still one hell of a game, regardless.

I have played both games and I decided to buy MLB 2k5. Its one hell of a game. I picked MLB over MVP because the graphics, presentation, audio(prob. one of the best ive heard announcing wise in any sports game), and gameplay were all better on MLB, and for 20 bucks I had to get it. Both games are good but I enjoyed MLB alot more. The xbox live play on MLB i found to be a little bit better then the MVP one.
Is 2K5 much better than 2K4? Because while I got 2K4 last year I could see how MVP was the superior game that year.

MLB 2K5 is a whole new game. If you were to play 2k4 and then play 2k5 you wouldnt even know they were both from ESPN(besides the icon that says ESPN lol). The graphics, gameplay, sound, and presentation went though a complete overhaul. Great game this year.

I didn't have 2K4. I had MVP 2004 so I can't judge.
