It's gonna be a great season of widescreen hi-def games.

I hear ya on that one Scot. It's almost time to gather up all the party snacks, call up the fellas, and bring out that special "football recliner" with the seasonal groove in the cushion. Ah, I'll tell ya, there's nothing like football season to bring out the true, lazy slob in all of us ;)

Dang it, agn! Quit making me want to go back to the dish!!! LOL! I gave up the dish 4 years ago (too many breakups here) but that much football in HD?!!

I think the Sunday Ticket that DirecTV has the exclusive on is the single biggest reason many people have a dish. I don't know how much longer though, I hear comcast is going to make a major bid to get those games offered on cable as well.

Is that this year or in the future?

Too bad ESPN's HD Channel sucks (at least via my cable provider) ... glad the games are shown on basic cable, but in HD.

The Monday night game looked pretty good. The problem i have is with CBS. While FOX has about 6 games a week in HD, CBS is offering 3 games ALL SEASON. That stinks. I hope it was a typo.

3 games all season?! Dang, I'm going to have to look into that one! But it really doesn't burn me too much because here (Seattle area) we don't get CBS on Comcast. Yeah, I have an OTA box, but now that I've moved my projector up into my bedroom (and that's just too SWEET!), I get ZERO signal. Oh well, at least Fox is going HD this season and no more of that Fox Widescreen bullshit.

At least its CBS, I don't think I honestly watch a single show on CBS. It's not like you're missing out on an episode of Lost...
