What are the chances that the sox can take all three games from the janks? I hope and pray they can so the race for the east is still attainable. If they lose 2 or 3 it truly is a wildcard season for the rest of it.

The real truth on that though is that apparently a deal was basically done and A-rod would come here but the Player's Union said no. Like a deal was literally signed and all it needed was the PU to say ok and A-rod would have been a Sock? :???: It really sucks though, damn them since A-rod was ok with taking a pay cut to come here to.

But the Red Sox won today so that was GREAT! :D

Anyway I doubt today's game will be just as "exciting" aka a big huge fight, because within a week or so some of the guys from last nights game will get suspended. I highly highly doubt either team wants their star players to end up getting suspended for whatever amount of games. The Red Sox definatly can't afford it with Ortiz being gone for 5 games and now Varitek going to be suspended most likely.

Well, they could've had the sweep, but 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Plus, they should be building some momentum. A nice 12 of 15 streak would do wonders for the team and the fans right about now.

Thank god they won the last 2. It really could have gone sweep. That's the problem with this team, like the patriots of 97,98,99 they just weren't consistent. They would show signs of greatness, only to lose the easy ones. They are on their longest road trip yet starting today, and if they don't step it up and win at least half the games, it's over.
