I love Transformers, so I hope this movie is done well. It's being produced by the guy who did The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, so that's bad. But, Spielberg and DeSanto are involved, so that's good. We'll see. If either Zemeckis or Spielberg direct it, I'll have full faith in it.

Yeah Spielberg hasn't let me down yet...and I doubt he'd start with such a well known franchise as the Transformers. Well at least I hope he wont start now :-P

But like I mentioned, it's rumored that he might direct. As I should say, I am a huge Spielberg fan, and it is EXTREMELY unlikely. I should also mention he is "rumored" to direct more than 40 films.

good crap...this is bad...
what in the hell makes them think it will suceed? if a high quality animated film released in the height of transformers popularity, what in the high makes hollywood think a live action film will? first all these horrible transformer spin off shows, then this movie...why are they ruining my childhood favorite?

You're overreacting. This movie has some good people involved, with a possible great director attached (Zemeckis, or maybe Steven himself), with people that clearly respect the material. Spielberg apparently worked hard to get the project to Dreamworks, which he would not have done if it wasn't going to be given the best treatment possible. And I don't know what kid doesn't want to see the Transformers come to life. I believe that it will be awesome.

I like Beast Wars till the changing the storyline of the Original Transformers. It's total bullshit to say that the Matrix was Optimus Prime's Spark if Autobot has a spark. That's pretty much my biggest complained with it, oh and also how Optimus Primal kept getting stronger and stronger, while some of the others stayed the freakin same.

While this is awesome news (not so much for the Michael Bay part of it but (shrug)) it's 2 freaking years away. Do you have any idea what can happen to a movie in 2 years?
Not only that but I just wish that producers of (insert game/movie/book/whatever) would just STFU until it's going to be availiable within a reasonable amount of time. 6 months, maybe?
"Hey take a look at this!"
"That's the greatest thing in the world! I want one/it now!"
"You can... in 2 years."

This is actually a great idea for a movie but you have to have someone who loves it enough to really work to keep the feel heading up the project.
Everything I've heard about from Transformers they've decided to include to possible voice actors to copyright and trademark viability has got me very wary on the project. I know that sucks to say having not seen a damn thing but when I hear things like:
Bumble Bee will be in the movie but we don't have the rights to the name and VW won't give us rights to the Bug but he's going to be in the movie
I feel like I'm dealing with people who don't get TransFormers. I'm a big fan. If They get it really wrong I'm going after them.

I asked the exact same question. The rumor is, as far as VW is concerned, VW was owned by Nazi's back in the day. To try and shake the stigma they don't like their cars in any kind of war movies whether they be terrestrial or intersteller apprently.
There is talk they're having some trouble with Porche as well and a few others but I'm not sure as to why. What could make your car cooler than turning into a giant robot I don't know.

I hope they don't mess up this, being live action. Michael Bay is an alright director. He's not really one to make quality films, just quality action sequences. He directed the Bad Boys movies, which are full of lots of explosions but not so high on the plot thickness. But hey, it's Transformers, so it could work out well having him directing.
Also, I get annoyed with the year early teasers. The Spider-Man 3 trailer has a ton of footage, but it's not coming out until May 2007. If they have so much already done why the wait? Crap, I say.

Looks like Michael Bay responded about the leaked photo that was out, This was posted from his message board by someone who spoke to him directly.
Spoke to Bay this morning...
...as I said, he will post later on later regarding the designs (when I say later it could mean tonight or in a couple of days).
Among some of the stuff:
-They (Bay & Co.) are commited to maintaining total secrecy about this project until it hits the screen. We spoke of how there was no surprise factor to Peter Jackson's King Kong. You knew the whole movie ahead of time. There are some in the team who believe the audience's first peak of the robots in their normal mode should be when they sit down to watch the movie in the theater (in other words, no sneak peak of them in their normal mode in the trailers).
-Bay & crew are well aware of sites putting out BS info in orded to elicit a response from Bay & Co.
-The reasons why they went with a huge long nose truck for OP (BTW, regarding the flames, there is a context for them like Orci pointed out). Bay said they did test with flat noses (FN) for scale purposes, and the FN would only be about 20 to 25 feet tall, so they went with the biggest truck they could find: the Peterbilt. We're talking 40 to 50 foot tall robots here. The physics for these robots have to be real...aka no magically disappearing parts. Also, OP is going to have much more red than what was shown in the supposedly "leaked" photo.
-Regarding the designers... all I can say is he said they all had to be fans of the show in order to get their jobs.
-Regarding the Ludacris rumor...no, he does not have a part in TF.

I never understood why they transformed into Earth vehicles when theyre from another planet.
The had to adapt to their surroundings, to be "in diguise". if not they would have been thought of alien ship and shot down to be probbed by scientist and such......I'm guessing.

When they crashed on Earth, the system that was running their ship scanned the world upon it's reactivation. It choose forms for each of them, I think for disguise as well as function. Autobots and Decepticons having roughly the same technology, were both affected in this way.
Yes it is sad that I can remember the first episode.

Yeah but it was still different characters since Optimus Primal was not Optimus Prime, Plus the Autobot and Decepticon war was over by then. Beast Wars they were Maximals vs Predacons which were to be evolved versions of the Autobots and Decepticon respectively.

No offense to any fans, but Beast Wars was shit. In fact, every Transformers series aside from the one that I watched on Saturday mornings roughly 20 years or so ago has sucked the big one.
Here's hoping Bay and co. don't screw the pooch with this one. As for the big-nosed big rig, that's a cosmetic change that I can deal with.
I better get a rapping Porche 911 Jazz, though...if not, I'm going to be seriously pissed and...someone..will taste my fist!

You have to give Beast Wars a chance man. I thought it was the worst too until I actually watched two or three episode consecutively and then it was alright. The pay offs are great if you watch the series consistently. Now I can entertain an argument about Beast Machines not being good, though I'd disagree some, and everything after that basically turns TransFormers into pokemon which is sacrilege.
As far as the big nose truck my beef is that the truck will turn into a robot but it won't look like Prime.
Now I don't think there is going to be Jazz:
1) Because I don't think Porsche wants any parts of it and
2) I bet the studio won't approve the "jive talking."
I not sure how I feel about that but the fact of the matter is if you have a giant robot but it doesn’t turn into a Porsche and it doesn’t jive talk it's just not Jazz.

Jive talk is so 80s, If that character is in the movie, I wonder what sort of dialect would he have? It has to reflect the current times though.

To be honest if it was me making this movie, I would have made it a striaght 80's period piece. Then you could have tape players and 80's model vehicles no problem. It would've been sweet.

How dare you ask me to apply rational thought and objectivity! :p
Seriously, maybe I'll give it a second chance. I think I have a link somewhere to some episodes that Hasbro has hosted on some site or another. For the record, I do have a good friend who loves the Beast Wars series...so much that he went out (much to his wife's chagrin) and purchased almost every toy ever released in conjunction with the show.
EDIT:
To be honest if it was me making this movie, I would have made it a striaght 80's period piece. Then you could have tape players and 80's model vehicles no problem. It would've been sweet.
Agree on all counts. There is no need to try to make this series somehow more relevant. I loved the excess that was the 80's and think that current movie-goers could accept it just fine, along with vehicles that transform into robots.

But the casual moviegoer wouldnt buy into that whole idea, The movie has to be set in present day, We as moviegoers would be into the movie more if we see things that we all recognize in the current times. From reading some of the on set reports, Theres a part of the movie that takes place in the Middle East, So current events will somehow be reflected in the movie.

TigerClaw I love you man, but you're smoking crack on this one. The 80's weren't that long ago that modern audiences couldn't realte to them. Even a 20 year old can vaugely remeber the 80's. As far as linking things to current events, that's the first step to losing the essence of the charcters.
The 80's is special man. It's like the 70's where you lose that whole archetypal thing of the 50's and 60's. It bred people and things that just don't translate into a modern context. This is especially true with TransFormers.
There is no good way to bring a tape player into modern times but if there's no tape deck then there's no SoundWave. Same thing with IronHide and that old van, dude. you can make him an SUV but then it's not IronHide its an new TrailBreaker or something. If it was me I'd but the first movie in the 80's and save the current times for a sequel.

For this movie there using a lot of artistic license to be able to make the characters fit the modern times, If soundwave is in the movie, He will transform into a boombox and not a tape player. Another thing, There won't be any mass shifting for the characters, Cause Transformers mass shifting from something small then transforming into big robots isn't realistic. Take example Soundwave in the original cartoons, He transforms into a very tiny tape recorder, When he transforms to robot form, He is suddenly very tall like the rest of the decepticons. Same goes for Megatron, He transforms into a very small gun, But when he transforms back to robot mode, Hes suddenly huge. What they are carefully doing for the characters is not have any magically disapearing parts. Any characters that have large vehicle modes will look enormous when they transform into robots, But anything thats small like a say an Ipod or XBox, Which are rumoured to transform in the movie, Will end up looking like 4 inch tall robots.

I understand they want to make the movie feel as real as possible but they shouldn't be silly about this. Your making a movie about giant mechanical lifeforms from another planet that tranform into different things for sake of disguise and military dominance. It's kind of a far out concept. To say mass shifting isn't realistic is ridiclous when you're making the giant alien robot movie. A 4 inch robot may be realistic if it transformed from an ipod but it's also utterly useless in a fight whether that be with a giant robot or a human. Michael Bay needs me as a consultant.

Transformers Movie Optimus Prime Robot Mode Information
Members of the TFW2005 crew at the SDCC met with an individual that was on the set of the upcoming Transformers live action movie last week. He had an image of a 25 foot tall model of Optimus Prime in robot mode. The Transformation appears to be similiar to G2 Laser Prime and has similiar visual features to G1 Optimus Prime.

Comic-Con 2006: Transformer Voice Cast Buzz
Will Peter Cullen be the voice of Prime?
by Chris Carle
July 21, 2006 - This year's Comic-Con is the last where Transformers movie news can possibly be revealed, as the film releases next year on July 4th. As such, plenty of aspects of the film are being hinted at while the main, big secrets of the film remain under lock and key. At today's Hasbro Transformers toy panel, the toy company debuted the new 20th Century edition DVD box, and talked briefly about the upcoming live action Michael Bay film based on their toys.
Toy Designer Aaron Archer, who has been working closely with members of Bay's production team, stated the film "has a lot of heart; very cool," and told fans that the changes being made to the core Transformers are "nothing to worry about." He went on to say that the characters are not complete departures. "I think they're new interpretations," he stated.
Perhaps the most interesting tidbit gleaned from the panel is the fact that Peter Cullen is seriously being considered by the filmmakers for the voice of Optimus Prime. Cullen played the voice of Prime, and several other Transformers, in both the animated series and Transformers: The Movie. Fan support for Cullen as Prime has blossomed on Internet message boards, and according to members of the panel, Michael Bay and company are looking into using Cullen as a result.
Archer went on to state that "the movie stands alone at this point," and probably will not weave into the various storylines of toys and future television series. Stay tuned to IGN's Comic-Con coverage of this film, as more details are sure to be unveiled as the weekend continues.

Frank Welker Auditions for Live Action Transformers Movie
Our crew at San Diego Comic Con reports in that they've heard first hand from an official source that Frank Welker has indeed sent in an audition tape for the role of Megatron.
Apparently, like Cullen, the powers that be are heavily considering his audition.
Could Frank Welker, the voice of the original Megatron, join Peter Cullen, the voice of the original Optimus Prime, in the upcoming movie? Just imagine how it would feel not only for the fans, but for the two voice actors to, once again after 21 years, relive their age old battle?

Folks following the long and winding tale of TRANSFORMERS here on AICN may recall that various drafts of the film's script used "place holder" names/identities for robots; the final word on who shows up in the movie will come down in this conference.
Alex and Bob will also be answering questions from the Geeky masses - questions you can begin submitting shortly via message boards at the official TRANSFORMERS movie website (which you can access HERE (http://www.transformersmovie.com/)).
Be sure to check the official site for the specific Yahoo conference address; we'll update this article as well when the URL becomes available.
This may be a fantastic opportunity to have some long gestating questions answered; I think it's way cool The Powers That Be are pushing open the doors a little in regards to this project. Something like this is long overdue, as far as I'm concerned, and could be a lot of fun...

I just finished watching a yahoo live webcast with the writers of the Transformers movie. They officially announced the characters that are going to be in the movie as well as answered questions sent by the fans, Here are the characters as followed.
Autobots:
Optimus Prime
noble, elegant and shakespearean leader of the Autobots
Bumblebee
scout, smallest of the Autobots, most connected to humans
Jazz
very eager, very contemporary and very stylish; looks at human culture and picks out what he likes best
Ratchet
medic/science officer, smartest of the Autobots; vehicle mode: Emergency vehicle
Ironhide
tough and gritty soldier, the muscle in the Autobot team
Decepticons:
Megatron
most advanced being in the universe, not purely evil, has a darwinist approach towards humanity (survival of the fittest), treats humans like we treat animals
Starscream
plotting to overthrow Megatron, the classic "banter" between Megatron and Starscream is intact
Brawl
a pissed off, eager brute who charges into battle, even if there's no point in doing so
Bonecrusher
the most Constructicon-like of the bots; a fascist who hates all Decepticons except Megatron
Barricade
a scout, a camouflaged hunter, vehicle mode - cop car
Scorponok
most BeastWars/Dinobot-like bot, makes total sense in the environment he's in (desert, scorpion)
Frenzy
infiltrator; the character evolved from Soundwave to Frenzy; very small
Blackout
transport for the Decepticons, kind of like the Decepticon version of "Ratchet"; sends out an EMP-blast to block out all electronical detection devices prior to a Decepticon attack, so "you won't know what hit you".

I agree. Let me ask this question though. Does it bother anyone else that these characters look nothing like the cartoon or in some cases comic book counter parts? These robots are pretty cool looking but they just don't look like TransFormers to me. Yeah it does bother me a little. It looks like they're trying to make them look very complex. I guess when it comes down to it the only thing this will have in common with the original cartoon is robots transform into things and Autobots fight Decepticons. I'm at the point where I've accepted it's not going to be G1 and hope for a great movie.

The Transformers series has been going on for a while now. In each remake new versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron are made, then new minions are usually added as well. So what if they don't look exactly the same as a particular version that we might have liked best, they still look awesome.
Does anyone remember Beast Wars? Optimus Prime most definately didn't look like a firetruck or an 18 wheeler in that series.
And in the long run, of the three characters in that picture, the only one I didn't recognize quickly was Megatron. When you look at that pic I can guarentee that almost anyone would think: "Wow, Optimus looks pretty badass right there."
Look at the head, the red, and the blue, all of which have been the same on nearly every Optimus model (except for Beast Wars :D).

It is important to note that Optimus Primal, leader of the Maximal faction in the Beast Wars animated series and toyline, is not Optimus Prime - he is a descendant of his, who took the name to honor the Autobot leader. The same applies to the Megatron of this universe.

yes, the point I was making. I hope they didn't get the idea from that one BW episode. Not terrible if they did but....
certain things shouldn't get messed with.
There is even a quote from Don Murphy concerning the negative feedback. He actually points to one poster whose been disagreeing with most of there decisions. This bothers them so much that they decided to speak out about it
Don Murphy Quote:
But lets talk Transformers shall we? There has been a lot of leaks of photos, scripts, tidbits both true and false. Roberto and Alex spoke on a webcast this week. Lots of things coming out which are costing people their jobs. Good stuff, bad stuff.
But you know what? You havent actually SEEN a damn thing yet.
Now the negative ninnies out there, the people like Bowspearer who just live in a cesspool of hatred, will say Weve seen enough. This isnt my Transformers. To those people who are so old school and stuck in their ways I say the following- Go away. Seriously. We dont need you here. You hate and you havent SEEN a damn thing yet.
Oh sure, Prime doesnt look EXACTLY like he did in the cartoon. The Autobots are only five. The Decepticons dont have Soundwave. There are complaints out the wazoo. Well you know what?
I have complaints too. There are things I wanted in this film which are not going to be in there. But I know what some of you know- filmmaking is not a democracy. Hell, Adam Goodman is in charge of production at Dreamworks. Hes the guy who BOUGHT this film. He is working day and night to get this ready for July 07. There are things I know he wishes were in the film. But they arent. Youve talked online here to Brian Goldner. He owns the property but everything is not EXACTLY as he wishes. Tom Desanto is the most devoted producer out there- I know there are things he wishes were in there. You saw that Alex and Bob didnt get everything they wanted. And Michael Bay, who spends 16 hour days shooting this mega-film? Michael Bay who sets up every shot himself and oversees to the point of operating the camera at times? Hes made a zillion compromises to get a great film he can be happy with.
No, filmmaking is a series of happy accidents. When Tom and I shopped this project around every studio passed, including Dreamworks and Paramount. When those two studios and others came around, we ended up with Dreamworks because Steven Spielberg and Adam Goodman (and creative VPS John Fox and Marc Haimes) knew that this was a BIG cool idea for a franchise. Hell, those guys wanted it in cinemas THIS summer. Its now 07 because everyone wants to get it right. No one is trying to make anything but a great film here.
When I say you havent SEEN anything, think about it. Youve seen a toy mold. A truck still. A Bumblebee model with a guy underneath it.
You havent SEEN Bumblebee transform. You havent SEEN Optimus walk or Megatron awaken. Youve seen sketches, designs and stills. Most of you get it when Brian Goldner says We are doing something here that has never been done. Hes right. The technology is there to make a LIVE ACTION Transformers film. To make several of them. But this is not a cartoon. There are cartoons already. Hasbro is making more. This is something new and different. LIVE ACTION robots.
So you negative ninnies- Id like you to give us a break. And if you dont, Id like you to go away for a while. Seriously. Come back in six months. Wait until you SEE something that Michael and ILM and all of us have done. Not some leaked bullshit from some coward. Wait till you SEE the magic that I believe will be Transformers the Live Action Movie. Then if you dont like what you see, hate away. Till then, I challenge you to be a grown up and reserve judgment. Even the majority who seem to like what you see have a right to hate later on.
Were trying to do this right- to appeal to the fans and the rest of the world. Cullen is hired. Welker is going through the process. Other things are being reviewed and considered.
There will always be someone who wants to hate. Thats so easy.
But I challenge the haters to wait until they SEE a Transformer in Live Action.
And the rest of you, most of you, thanks for the many suggestions and kind words. It continues to be a surprising and fun ride.
Hang Tight Stooges, Hang Tight.
They said it was gonna be a G1 movie now they are saying it's not (after people start complaining of how it's not G1 after the changes they've made). Fanboys can suck but I don agree with some of the complaints.

Alien Robots to be exact, The thing is, Prior to landing on earth, They all had a cybertronian form, But once they scanned earth vehicles and things, There pyschical form changes. This is what Megatron would look like if he hasnt scanned anything on earth to blend in, I could only assume that if they get to do the sequel, Megatron will take in a much different apearance once he scan something on earth.

I'd have to agree that this is super cool looking . . . but is most assuredly not Megatron. I read the big post where the creator dude is asking for some slack and I'm not mad at him. I don't know If I agree with him but I'll give him his six months. But if in six months that thing is still Megatron there's not going to be anything they can say to me to make me feel good about it. In the movie that thing will probably look awesome and be majorly cool. But it won't be G1 world dominating, Starscream hating, Autobot crushing, cannon toting Megatron. And realistically speaking seeing a live action Optimus Prime fight a live action Megatron is what I'm paying my $11 to see. Change all the rest of them. Make the rest of the Decepticons Action masters and Prime run a crew of Maximals or Throttlebots I don't really care as long as I get some semblance of G1 Prime and Megatron. OK I'm done until six months from now :-)

The point Im trying to say is Transformers have cybertronian forms before arriving on earth to scan objects around to blend in. I have a feeling if Megatron doesnt get killed off on this movie and they do the sequel. Perhaps we can see him in a earth based form. The fact to the matter is, Decepticons were meant to look like mean scary looking things, That way we can tell who the good guys and bad guys are. The bad ones being the scariest looking of the bunch of course.

Not if there physical apperance was conducive to the forms they would have on Earth :-) You're right but really how they look on Earth is correct. How they looked on Cybertron should have been different since the turned into different things there. That's why I mentioned the War Within comics because the do a cool job of interpeting what the robots would look like if they turned into some of the modes we see in the first cartoon. It's a cool series about the War on Cybertron before coming to Earth.

In light of the Megatron pic being leaked, The CEO of Hasbro Brian Goldner has posted some comments on the Don Murphy message board regarding the leaked pics.
How do I say this--You guys say you want to see robots NOW, and then, when you see early work-in-progress, you flip out!!!
Let me try to frame where we are headed with TRANSFORMERS, and draw some analogies...you loved G1 the first time you saw it ( and every time since), and so did we...It told a NEW story of sentient beings that have human-like characters, and yet, there is so much more to them than what's on the surface...they transform from recognizable objects to unimaginable robots. They have their own history, and rivalries that we witness, and get swept up in... We all owe it to the next generations of folks to use the technology, storytelling, and access (to real contemporary vehicles/military) that TRANSFORMERS provides to drive this forward...your input in very important as it helps to shape the delivery of TRANFORMERS as a LIVE-ACTION movie. We will show you robots, when they are right....they will be PHOTO-REALISTIC. In fact, this movie could have never been produced much before today....this is worth the effort.
We need to tell an origin story because not everyone is as versed as you in the history....we need to explain elements of the TRANSFORMERS that can be glossed over in animation...there are logic gaps that do need to make sense when a broad global audience buys a ticket and wants to enjoy the show as much as you will...we continue to make progress.
Starcream is a complex character. He is loyal, and yet ready to mutiny all at the same time. He is two-faced and duplicitious...his character will be played out in his design...as he evolves he is looking very cool....
Megatron too is a very important link from past (G1) to present...there are major story elements that will come to light as you watch the film that make his evolving design ring true...of course, he has always had big guns...just wait to see what we have done here....again, LIVE-ACTION....
The comments and jokes about leaving the boards are unjustified...there has never been a group of producers, writiers, and studio executives more engaged in this project, and for that reason not always attached to these boards.
thanks...bg

TFW2005.com has received the following information about the design of Transformers Movie Jazz:
Grey Body.
Visor over eyes.
Claw like fingers.
Body is similar in design to Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in that it has exposed gears, similar feet.
Pontiac Solstice?
Front end of the car becomes his chest.
You know, I wonder if CliffyB has seen all those leaked images? I wonder what he thinks of the Optimus Prime and Megatron designs so far.
Why? is he a huge fan or something?

Hes a huge fan, If you listen to one of the archive shows, Scot actually read on the show CliffyB's open letter to Michael Bay regarding Optimus Prime.

It's funny how life works. I just got off the phone with Kellvin, who was telling me all about his visit to The Transformers set in downtown Los Angeles. Of course, when I heard about all the cool shit he saw, I was a bit jealous. All right, maybe a bit more than a bit, but you know, words can only do so much. I took some time to try and envision Broadway shut down with all the prop-damage and production chaos that movie sets look like. And then I got an email and envision no more! The Malachi Brothers performed a Malachi Crunch for us! They not only got us some set photos, but also video!
So we got your first look at Jazz, the Pontiac Solstice. That car looks tight! We also have a look at Tyrese in battle garb and Bumble Bee and Ironhide and Ratchet!
The shots are amazing and the video does a great job of showing us the scale of the project! After seeing this stuff, I threw my Transformers Refrigerator magnet I picked up at Comic-Con on my car bumper. Let's see how long it stays on there before someone rips it off.
Thanks guys, you can send us stuff anytime!
Here is what they had to say:
Hola Boys,
I was driving through downtown Los Angeles on Sunday and came across a huge, and I mean HUGE movie set on Broadway. It took up the whole block between 8th and 9th Streets. I pulled over when I saw the flashing traffic warning signs warning about explosions and gunfire. I like explosions and gunfire, so of course, I had to pull over to have a look see.
To my surprise, it turned out to be The Transformers! So I called my brother, because he’s a huge Transformers fan, and he came down with a couple cameras. After all, it’s not every day you can actually contribute to something cool to the internet. So we split up and tried to get as much as we could.
I got a couple snaps of Tyrese in his red beret. My bro got a couple shots of some Transformers. Two of which we’ve seen online, but the grey car there is new I think. The Hummer Search and Rescue Vehicle Truck is new too, I think. I’m not sure though, so you’ll have to double-check that.
There were a ton of security guards walking around, but we tried to be sneaky and got some cool video of some street devastation. The video doesn’t do justice to what the special effects people did. We saw them set the whole thing up from bare street. They placed a bunch of black Styrofoam pieces around to look like a crater. Then they took a crane and placed some beat down cars on some metal braces to make it seem like they were blasted out of the craters. It looked absolutely amazing! The video gives you an idea about the size of the devastation. Toward the end of the video, you’ll see some footage of Bumble Bee Camaro and the Ratchet Truck.
We caught a couple scenes. The first one was a shot of Tyrese jumping out of a black assault vehicle and looking up in the air. I imagine what the scene will be is the Autobots and the Decepticons facing off here, with Tyrese and the assault teams on the same side with the Autobots. Tyrese and Co., Ratchet (rescue vehicle), Bumble Bee (Yellow Camaro), Ironhide (Black GMC 4X4 truck) and Jazz (Grey Sports Car, the latest Pontiac Solstice) come racing down to a showdown as the Decepticons take off into the air.
Another scene involved an exploding Truck. It looked like an old Pepsi truck with Furby’s painted on the sides. I imagine one of the Autobots actually has a head-on collision with the Pepsi/Furby Truck because they set up the Truck on a lift so it when it gets hit, it flies head over end with a huge explosion. The security pushed us all back so we couldn’t find a place where we could get a shot. I tried to climb on top of one of the buildings, but they shut down the majority of the buildings in the area. They were using a lot of green smoke for some reason. I assume this means something because why not just use regular smoke?
Well, I hope you guys find this useful. If you put up up, call us The Malachi Brothers!

aintitcoolnews.com (www.aintitcoolnews.com) has posted a great interview with Shia LaBeouf who plays Sam Witwicky aka Spike. On it he reveals more stuff about the upcomming movie, You can read the full interview right here (http://www.aintitcoolnews.com/display.cgi?id=24383).
Here's a snippet regarding Megatron.
There are certain things, like Megatron wasn't a jet, you know?
QUINT: I'm curious how that's going to translate. I don't mind that he's a jet so much because even as a kid I thought it was a bit weird that the king of all badass villain robots could turn into a gun that somebody else had to use. It kind of took some of his power away...
SHIA LABEOUF: Right, right. That's sort of what Soundwave was about. Those characters all had meaning because Megatron needed that crutch. Now that that's gone, it's done in other ways. Megatron's crutch now is that he's frozen. But it's modernized. You can't have a toy gun. You've got 9 year olds watching this movie and yes, we're creating mythology, but you can't make a toy gun your antihero and then have Hasbro go out and sell toy guns with the little yellow cap on it, you know? It'll look fuckin' ridiculous to have Megatron with a yellow nose, you know what I mean? It'd look retarded.
The fact that it's a Razor, a plane that nobody's seen before, that the military is giving us... that nobody has filmed or seen. I mean, CNN has not seen this plane and we're filming it. It's cool. It gives it that edgy shit. People have seen guns before, but to make Megatron something that nobody's ever seen and make it an edgy presence... it does, it modernizes it and makes it dangerous again. Guns aren't dangerous. How crazy is that to say? But guns aren't dangerous! You've got guns in movies that aren't dangerous at all, you know? I feel like HERBIE THE LOVE BUG could have had a gun and nobody would have questioned it, you know?
Apparently, Megatron will have an earth alt mode and not the alien jet alt mode that we all seen from that early work in progress image.
That'll actually be cool. We will probably see the Alien Alt first though, the he changes.

Dude, not to piss on your cheerios or anything... but you should really host the pics that you find on photobucket or on another free image hosting site instead of stealing the bandwidth from sites that your not paying for (i.e. aintitcool and the other various sites you get your news from).
They need to fix Prime's face... other than that, he looks cool.

Still doesn't give you a right to leech from them unless your paying for their bandwidth. It's stuff like that, that gets sites in trouble. That's all I'm going to say about this.
Back on topic...
I heard that those pics are a few months old and that the designs have been slightly altered.

If Prime has an arm cannon and Megatron doesn't I may go nuts. I'm going to give the producers the six months they asked for but if it goes down like that it would be worst than them putting Stick in the Elektra movie but not even mentioning him in DD. Really I may go like JTHM nuts.
