Canseco bags VH1's Surreal Life to star with World Champs

Renowned author, admitted steroid user and former Bash Brother Jose Canseco announced today that he will attempt to return to major league baseball for an 18th season with the Boston Red Sox in 2005. Sox GM Theo Epstein, who called this the biggest signing since Byung Hyun Kim, is expected to make an official announcement this afternoon.

Only one thing really comes to mind: Why? I mean when did he retire 2 or 3 years ago? And he wasn't that great at the time. Hell when he left the Red Sox he pretty much sucked, so why the fuck would they sign him yet again? Isn't he in his 40s as well? I just hope their not paying him that much.
