THE SIMS! I know its like 4 years old but I just ummmm "got it" last week. ::cough::downloaded::cough:: :wistles and walks away: dum dede dum dum
Anyway I love this game. Already I have a bunch of cool stuff in my small house. I'm going to save up a ton of money and then build my dream mansion that I want to build in real life. It won't be exactly the same as my dream house from lack of stuff in the game, but still a good representation. What I am confused about though is how do you play all the expansions? Like you buy the original game then install it, for the expansion do you install it and it automatically goes into the game you have so like its extra stuff in your already played game? Then do you use the newest expansion disc? So do I have to buy and install them in order after the original, or can I buy them any way I want? I'm just confused about all that, sorry for the long post.
BTW, you suck since I was going to make a thread on this but now I can't. Heh.

You install the original sims first, then the expansions after that. You then put in the latest expansion to play the game then. Here's the order of release:
The Sims
Living Large
House Party
Hot Date
Vacation
Unleashed
Superstar
Makin' Magic
Sorry about making the tpoic first ;)

No biggie I just was trying to get some questions answered anyway since I want to get these games now after playing it, and I want to make sure I get everything right. Ok so you have to install them in order then? And what about Sims Deluxe? Also these will work of Xp right? I mean it does for me now, but I want to make sure when I get the game the actual cd will. Then one las annoying question, Sims 2 is seperate right? I don't need the first ones to play the second? Thanks for all the help.

1. It does work on XP and I'm pretty sure you have to install them in order. you may be able to do them out of order, but it may ask you for the previous disc at times.
2. Sims 2 is a completely separate game and Sims 1 is NOT required (it's coming out September 14th)

I am playing Ultimate Doom using Doomsday to further anticipate Doom 3. It is really fun using the Doomsday add-on.
I am also revisiting Call of Duty on harder difficulties. I came back into realization that CoD was a very fun, and extremely intense game. I was saying "wow" all over again. It is simply amazing. Those Germans just won't stop.

Thanks for all the help. What about The Sims Deluxe though? I don't exactly get what that is and when I check sites like EB Games and GameStop it doesn't seem to show up for some reason. The good thing though at least is all the expansions are only like 20 bucks. So now I can spend only a 100 bucks or so and get all of them.:smt012
