July 22, 2004 - Here in America, we just got the slick interface of MTV Music Generator 3: This is the Remix to keep the beatheads happy, but across the Pacific something else is brewing that should make the DJ wannabes drool. Going by the name of DJbox (http://www.playstation.jp/scej/title/djbox/), this piece of PS2 software allows gamers to mix tunes together on the fly and add their own effects at the same time. With an automatic beatmatcher, making a clean mix looks to be little more than finding the right tunes to go together. Hell, you can even "scratch" the music up if you want to.

There are currently no plans to bring this title outside of Japan, but hopefully that will change.
