What are some games that you think are so amazing, that they deserve a perfect 10/10. If you're the kind that believes 10/10 is only reserved for perfect games and it's an unattainable goal, then list the games that you think are *closest* to being 10/10 material.

It's weird, most of the games I feel are 10's people have given mixed scores. Oh and I don't believe in being fancy and providing pictures.

I won't go so far as to say these are perfect 10s, but they're the highest rated of games I've played.

A 10 is perfection. So by perfection standards pretty much every game listed here is not a 10.
The one I would keep as a 10 is Zelda: OoT.
Infact it's the only game I would ever give a 10.

Good, I don't agree with the 10 being given out like candy. But I do think the 10 is an attainable goal, not just an unreachable number that we use for comparison with all games.

I will agree with you on Super Ghouls and Ghosts, but the others are questionable. I am a big fan of FF7 too, but I wouldn't give it a perfect 10.

10 is the absolute highest score a game can get. Meaing it is to be hard as hell to achieve?
Why do you think IGN gave Jade Empire a 9.9 rather than 10? They thought the game was AMAZING, but not worth a 10. The 10 is holy and reserved only for the very best, not the "Ah it's so close let's round it to a 10" games.

K, thanks for stating pretty much what I meant. Except for the fact that the 10 is "holy" as if a score for a game can be that important.

1. Super Mario 64 (truly perfect. i would pick it over many other games of today)
2. Legend of Zelda: OoT/WW/MM/LttP (yeah, all of them. i group them together)
3. Perfect Dark (pun intended and totally true)
4. Half Life 1 and 2 (FPS perfection, beaten only by PD)
5. Tales of Symphonia (and i'm only semi-embarassed about it)
6. KOTOR I (awesome story, best SW game)
7. Starship Titanic (because i can)
There's more, but they escape my mind at the moment.

What the hell about Super Mario 64? I mean didn't that game actually GET a 10? I swear it did since there was literally nothing wrong with that game. No glitches nothing. Rayo and Chmielowiec were the only ones to have pointed it out so far. Shame on the rest of you! :mad:
BTW, Ender do you mean PC or XBox version for Morrowind? I would only say 10 if its was the Game of the Year Edition with both expansions. And then not a 10, at least for XBox, since the load times sucked. I don't know how bad they were on PC, I would imagine no where near as bad, but they did suck. Oh yeah and have you read the interview on Oblivion that took place last week? Its shaping up to by awsome.
There was plenty wrong with the game. Like having to play the same levels again.. again.. again.. and again.. to get all those stupid stars. Borrrriiinnggg..

You didn't. The levels were differen't for one thing, and two you didn't have to get all 120 to "beat" the game. But of course an FPS is MUCH different: Shoot something move on to next section, shoot a few more things and then move on again, hit switch to open door then shoot more things and move on, etc etc etc. See I can make generalizations to. :smt023

The very first Game(s) to get 10s from most review sources where "Metal Gear Solid" and "Zelda: OoT".
They both came out like the same month or month apart, but anyway the first two games to get 10s from EGM I believe.

Game is a game, Both equally equivolent.
GOTY counts, as It was a released version of the game, so, yeah. Times weren't that bad, once you got past the initial one, beginning the game. (Normal morrowind's times were about 5 times faster, btw) PC-Just totally kicked ass, 10 easily, with mod community, and everything.
No, I haven't checked the latest viewing, but I will, I check up on it about once a week or two. So I will eventually, ty.
