The last movie I watched on DVD was The Butterfly Effect.
Ashton, weirdness, and no Demi in sight. Worth a rental, if only to see the way-crazy original director's ending.

I watched Secret Window and Butterfly Effect yesterday. I thought Buttefly Effect was really good. I was sceptical of Ashton's acting abilities in a movie like this. Let me say he was very good. The story was entertaining and creepy too. I definitely recommend this movie for rental.

Secret Window was ok, but I figured out the ending after about 45 minutes. It kind of reminded me of a couple other movies too. I won't say whuch ones, because it may give away the ending. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great.

How was Wasabi? I keep seeing it at the video store but never pick it up. It wasn't bad. It's got Jean Reno from The professional, Ronin, and Onimusha 3: Demon Siege. He's a french cop who discovers that he's got a Japanese daughter & goes back to Japan. Its not original, kinda like the French Dirty Harry out of water on Japan. Its got its funny moments. Not the best, but I liked it. I'd say rent it if the price is reasonable.

Incidently, the male lead from the Returner, Takeshi Kaneshiro, is also from Onimusha 3.

Wooster & Jeeves Season 1 Disc 1
The Last Samurai.

Awsome movie I thought, and the music was great. Nice and deep type stuff with trumpets I think that had a nice beat. Heh and Tom Cruise actually looked cool in the armor.Loved how he survived that horse charge ;)

Nothing is over. Nothing!

I don't know why but for some reason I was thinking of that line at work today.

The last DVD I watched though was Spider-Man 2 last night. Good movie. I just though MJ found out in the next one. Or at least thats what I thought I heard.
