Resident Evil ports (2,3, CV)

Did anyone buy these for the Cube? I've been wanting to pick them up, but I didn't wanna pay the $40 when they came out. Unfortunately I havn't seen them in any local stores.

i thought the controls blew but i only had played for about 5 minutes on the second lvl on one of them

I didn't buy them because I already had them on PS2. Now, if they would have recieved the overhaul the original did then I would have gladly plopped down $50 for each of them. The remake was absolutely stunning.

Its a waste of time and money buying the ports.
Just purchase the other ver. instead. Though RE Remake, beefy.

The new RE's are not only cheaper then the ports but, much better as well. I really don't think, the original RE's were nearly as good as the newer ones.

RE2 and CV were really good. Especially the storylines. Xplay's review of the RE:CV was disgraceful.

I bet you can find the PC version of RE2 cheap. Or run the Playstation version on an Emulator on your PC or PS2.

I have RE:0 and RE:1 on the Gamecube. I got em brand new, $20 each. I can't seem to find 2,3 and CV.

If you played RE: 2, 3, & CV on any other system don't bother. They are the same exact games. Nothing has been improved or added.

Not really, they're pretty much the same. Now the first Resident Evil Oh hell yes huge improvement, but the rest, not enough to justify buying them again.

The GCN ports are teh original PSone games on a GCN disc but they are 30 dollars over priced. Buy the PSone ones.

Ill buy them all for the GC in 2-3 years when there like $5-9 each..
