I guess $207 million just doesn't go as far as it used to.:biglaugh:
This shit is hilarious. It's May 7, and they're as bad as the Devil Rays. Actually, worse, as the Rays hold the tie-breaker. :smt081
I'm going to fully enjoy this while it lasts, and that's hopefully a long time. I also hope Georgie Porgie's horse trips tomorrow, and they have to put a slug in its head. That'd be sweet.

Sankon and the funny part is nobody will care! Well except a few northerners, but who cares. Everybody else is tired of the Yankees, Redsox, Sewer Series Mets... blah blah.

I'm loving the breakdown, now my White Sox will finally get the credit they deserve.
It was just way too awesome to see the Rays take 3 straight games against those hacks. But now we got our butts kicked by a real team last night. Damn you Minnesota. Man if we just didn't automatically lose every road game (and the prime example of road choking is Dewon Brazelton, still no road wins in his MLB career) our record would be decent.

It just goes to show that slinging money at the biggest names in the game and throwing together an all-star team doesn't mean you're going to win games. You will get streaks, sure, but it doesn't guarantee success by a long shot.

Oh, Sankon, you and your once oh-so-witty retorts are now weak and flacid. You said the same thing last year, remember. How'd that turn out for ya?

Ha, yeah right. That's why Sox/Yankees games are by far the highest rated games. That's why teams always set their attendance highs when Boston or New York is in town. Texas has averaged 28,000 fans in non-Sox games. They average 46,000 against the Sox. Without the Sox in town, Tampa averages 12,000 fans. In their 3 games against the Sox, they averaged 31,000. Toronto: 20,000 against other teams, 34,000 against the Sox. Baltimore: 28,000 vs. 38,000. See a trend? Yeah, nobody cares.

It's poetic justice that while the Yanks are languishing at the bottom of the AL East standings, the O's have one of the best records in baseball.
Yeah, I'm just soaking this up.

How is that poetic justice?
Poetic justice would be an exact reversal of the usual standings in the AL East: Tampa Bay, Toronto, Baltimore, Boston, and then New York. Wouldn't change much for the middle of the road Orioles, LOL.

I don't see how that is poetic justice, either.

Because against the Yankees, the Orioles were usually hopeless.
This has been entertaining watching the Yankees collapse. The sox will win the division ahead of Baltimore and the Yankees will miss the Playoffs for the first time in years.

There are still like 120 games left. Don't speak in such final terms.

LOL we all have been around for a while. The one year anniversary is coming up soon....
But anyhow THE RED SOCKS are chumps. "FEVER PITCH" I need not say more.
On a side note...nice vocabulary!

I don't think you understand the concept of poetic justice.

This year: 2005. Last year: 2004. kk?
Uh-oh, I make this thread and the Yanks win 3 in a row... >.<
At least the Sox are still winning.

It would be amazing if the Yankee's dont make it into the playoffs. I will laugh my ass off. It still too early to tell though. They could just be off to a bad start (I hope not).
