(I'm not really sure where to place this thread, since it's not really much to do with hardware - tech - help, but move if need be)
I always was a Winamp - XMMS Kind of guy when it came to my audio players. I Love to use winamp when i'm on windows because of just how much you can do with the damn thing. With some plug-in's, I can get it working with my logitech multimedia keys, it has a kick ass media center for ease of use to listen to my music and videos. XMMS was nice when I was on linux, it could use winamp skins and also had a plug-in for my multimedia keys although it did not have the media center like winamp. I really like to have it be easy to have all my music in one place with me not having to search directorys to play my tunes.
Enter Amarok (http://amarok.kde.org/)

It has some really cool things in it, it has a nice media center to organise my music (no video support though), can be used with my multimedia keys (although it takes a bit more effort) (http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Use_Multimedia_Keys) and even has a lyric's search (which can be done on windows with Evil Lyrics, however this is built in.)
It's also has ipod support built in so you can transfer things to and from your ipod. I don't have an ipod so I can't test it however. It also has nice script support, I am really likeing the web playlist (http://innerlogic.kicks-ass.net:4773/) one. It's also really easy to add new ones.
Overall, this is very much worth a download. It just rules.
