Post your MLB trade rumors here. I'm not sure how many of you actually follow baseball, but of well.
Supposedly Philadelphia is talking with St. Louis about possibly trading:
Placido Polanco (2B)
Kevin Millwood (SP)
for
Matt Morris (SP)
Steve Kline (RP)
Being a Phillies fan, I'd welcome this trade. Millwood isn't doing anything this year, and didn't do much last year. Polonco's spot will be easily filled with rising star Chase Utley. Phils could use Steve Kline and maybe get rid of the unreliable Roberto Hernandez. As for getting Matt Moris, he's not having the greatest year, but I don't see him doing worse than Millwood or Abbott.

I have heard the Tigers are shopping Ugueth Urbina. I sure hope that doesn't happen. They are still in contention in the AL Central and they should be buyers right now, not sellers. If the Tigers start to struggle and find themselves 10 games back around the deadline, then maybe a trade is worhtwhile.

That's a terrible trade for the Phils.
I heard they're going after the Big Unit, we'll probably end up giving up Billy Wagner though. :x

Take it from a lifeling Tigers follower, Ugeth isn't going anywhere. Not this season. In fact, word in the Detroit Free Press is that Dombrowski is eyeing Russ Ortiz in Anaheim, and Buddy Groom in Baltimore. Not to mention Detroit is one of many teams eyeing Kris Benson in Pittsburgh.

I love how every contending team seems to have the rumor that they're getting RJ. I hadn't even heard of Philly being in the mix until this thread, and I can't imagine it happening. Latest word was that he was interested in going to the Mets. I still think he won't go anywhere, but if they do move him, I think it'll be Anaheim. They'll give up Kotchman and a couple of other good prospects, and that will be that.
Rumor is Rays GM Chuck Lamar will do something stupid.

Rumor has it that Randy Johnson will be headed to either the Yankees, Red Sox or Angels. I hope he doesn't go to the Yankees.

Johnson seems much more open to a trade now: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=mlb&id=1838516.
Honestly, the only team that has the prospects that 'zona is going to want is Anaheim. The Yanks have almost no prospects whatsoever, so I don't see why the D'backs would agree to a trade with them. The Sox have better prospects than the Yankees (as does every team in the league), but the fall short of Anaheim. If they want to get RJ, they'll probably have to trade Nomar for the necessary prosepects. Word was that scouts for the Sox were in Chicago the other day. Perhaps a three-way deal?
As a Red Sox fan, I'd love for the Sox to find a way to get Randy without moving Nomar. But even then, it'll be hard for them to resign Pedro and Tek at the end of the year. It's a complicated situation.

I'm not going to even read what Mr. Anti-Yankee said because I'm sure 99% of it is bull****.

Yeah, okay buddy. Glad you're so sure of that. If you had bothered to read what I posted, I only mentioned the Yankees once, and that was to state that I don't think they have the prospects necessary to get RJ.
Randy's agent said he doesn't think Randy's going anywhere. Eh, I'm not really buying it. Probably just a ploy to drive up his price. I guess it comes down to 'zona either taking the best offer they can get now and saving $8 mil., or eating that $8 mil. and wait until the offseason, where they can, perchance, get a better deal.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Beltran shipped out of Houston, as their situation doesn't look so good. Also, if the Marlins fall out of contention, look for them to move Pavano and Benitez. Maybe even Penny. They could significantly aid a contender. I'd certainly like Pavano, but I'm sure the price would be high.
