View Full Version : Do you have Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! or Punch-Out!?
I have the original with Mike Tyson's name on it. They removed his name later and just called him Mr.Dream.

Yes, and I love to watch the first timers who just randomly start pushing buttons and get their ass whooped by Glass Joe.

Actually, Punch Out came out before Mike Tysons version. It was in the arcades, then came out on NES, then they added Mike Tyson later.

WRONG. Well, sort-of.
Timeline goes first:
Punch-Out! (arcade) - 1984 (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=&game_id=9155)
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! (NES) - 1987
Punch-Out! (NES) - 1990
Punch-Out!'s arcade version, while Mike Tyson free, was a fairly different animal from its NES counterpart. Two characters from the arcade version, Kid Quick and Pizza Pasta, were nixed when the game came to consoles, but several new characters, including Mike Tyson, were put in the FIRST release on the NES in 1987.
In 1990, after bad things happened, Mike Tyson got pulled for Mr. Dream, who still was never in the original.

Yeah, I guess youre right. I also found out that a some of the people that were added to Mike Tysons Punch Out were from Super Punch Out for the arcades, but for some reason Bear Hugger and Dragon Chan werent added until the SNES version of Super Punch Out.

Please tell me why anyone would put an NES on an oven. Seriously, this has to be a good story. I want to hear this dumbfuck cousin's reasoning.

he put it on top of the tv, it got knocked off of the tv backwards, hit the wall and then the floor and fucked up the connector and the game(top load NES)
note that the original post said over, and not oven. i dont know how i screwed that one up so bad.. heh
