USCHO has confirmed that Tampa will be one of the upcoming host cities for the NCAA Hockey championship. Looks like it'll be 2012. That's awesome news for hockey in the south! :cool:
Other host cities named are Washington, D.C., Detroit, and St. Paul.
BTW, Detroit's Frozen Four will be hosted in Ford Field which means they will have up to 60,000 fans in attendance for the games there. Insane. I've been to Lightning games with nearly 30,000 fans back when they played in the baseball dome but that's something else.
