new tales game

I read in the latest EGM mag that there is a new Tales game in the works for the gamecube. Its not known if its a direct sequel......but the mainstays of the series "items and linear-battle system will be there"

"TOKYO--Namco announced today that preordered PlayStation 2 versions of Tales of Symphonia in Japan will come with a preview DVD of the next title in the series. The disc will include an exclusive trailer of Tales of Rebirth and promotional clips and artwork for Tales of Symphonia. The game is slated to hit Japanese stores on September 22 for a price of 7,140 yen ($66).

Tales of Symphonia was originally released on the GameCube in Japan last August. The North American version will be available July 13. Tales of Rebirth is the next installment in Namco's Tales series, and it will be released on the PS2. No release date has been announced yet, however. For more details on Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Rebirth, check GameSpot's previous coverage."
