I've only heard things about Hi-Def TVs and I am very interested to hear what the big fuss is about. From what I know they're expensive, but I could be wrong. Hopefully in time they will go down in price as they become more in-demand like DVD players (they use to cost a couple hundred, but now you can find a decent one for like less than $50).

Well, I've had HD for a few years now and content only recently caught up to expectations. The image is incredible, especially some things on Discovery HD. You get 5.1 sound. Although some network shows obviously use filters to soften the image. My projector, which can pump out a gigantic HD image, cost $800 and I'm loving every second. Monday Night Football in HD? Well, there you go.

Yeah HD was pretty much all about sports for me. I wanted this seasons NFL games in Hi Def. I'm going to post my HD experiences in a thread.

Yeah they have already come down a lot. As the goverment mandate for HDTV gets closer prices will shift.

Oh and the big fuss? 3 words ... PICTURE, PICTURE, PICTURE
