I liked that weird show on ABC called Miracles. Looked like it had potential. And it looked nice in high def.

Theres so many, most of them canned by Fox. For others though I will go with Madigan Men. Anyone remember this from ABC a few years ago? It was about 3 Irish guys a grandfather, his son, and the guys son who was 17 all living in New York I think. I first thought the show was going to be stupid when I saw the adds, but then after actually watching it I found out it was funny as hell. To bad it didn't even make it through one season.

Anyway as for Fox shows they would be the first Andy Richter show, Greg the Bunny, Boston Public, A Minute With Stan Hooper, Futurama, and Family Guy but luckily its now coming back. As you can see Fox has piss-poor tast by cancelling all these great shows. I just wish someone else could have picked them up. Maybe I can download all the episodes for them since except for Futurama I don't think any of them got by the first season?

Fox is notorious for cancelling shows before their time. I loved Futurama and I never saw the 4th season because Fox didn't show it on the East Coast, it was never on because football always ran late on sundays. They also cancelled Firefly and Sliders too. ALl those shows you mentioned were funny.

wow forgot about all those shows on FOX. I even remember watching most of them, especially Greg the Bunny. Man I loved Count Blah!

Another one I enjoyed that was on ABC was The Job, the cop show with Dennis Leary.

I forgot about Dilbert and Undergrads. Dilbert was awsome, I mean so many people love the comic so how could you they not love the show as well? I mean that show was great. The biggest fear everyone has about taking a nonspeaking character and giving him a voice is that it just won't match up to what you think they will sound like, yet that show hit a bullseye with the voices. They were perfect and sounded exactly the way I thought they would. Undergrads was great to, even though its like never on anymore really.

I also wish they would do another season of the Spider Man cartoon from MTV. I thought it was going to be a bit lame at first but then I loved it. The art style they used was great and made it look just so cool. I swear I really do need to try and find all these shows to download since most of them are just one season or not even one season long.

BTW, Music I don't think 3rd Rock from the Sun was cancelled it just ended. It went 7 seasons afterall and they did have a final episode closing things out, unlike most of these shows that were just canned midseason.

So? Those shows were also more popular then 3rd Rock from the Sun and got higher ratings. It doesn't matter though since the show didn't get canned the series just ended and it had a proper ending with a series finally, it wasn't just like a midseason thing like alot of the shows listed. So you can't call it a "dead show" if it went on for 7 season I think, didn't get cancelled, and had a proper series finally.

Oh another show I forgot to add is Who's Line is it Anyway? The show was scripted regardless of how much they want to try and deny it, but it was still funny as hell. I never could figure out why they had such a problem with doing the hoedowns, especially Ryan, when they didn't seem to have a problem with the other singing bits.

Talking about abrubtly ending. Did FOX ever give Boston Public a real ending I can't remember. After they moved it to Friday's I stopped keeping up with it as much, then it was gone.

Another one that got canned in the most disgusting way it just vanished. Was ABC's Dragnet. I really enjoyed this show and watched every episode, it was one of the few shows I would go out of my way to make sure I caught it or taped it.

Nope. They won't even show the episodes that they already filmed either. Bunch of bastards. From what I have read the set has been torn down and everyone basically told to go away. There were so many story lines left unfinished. The thing that annoyed me a little bit about the show though was just changing things from one thing to another abruptly. Like when Ms. Davis I think her name is said she would sleep with Scot at the end of one season and then at the start of the next season her character was just gone with no explanation. As well as the first secretary just going away without much mention, and then Senate leaving which sucked since he was great. I haven't seen him anywhere else either. That was just a great show though, a perfect blend of drama and comedy. An awsome show, so of course Fox wants no part of it and cancels it. DAMN REALITY TV!!! :smt013

Yeah I think that was one of the main reasons the ratings slumped prior to them moving the show to Friday nights (aka death slot). People tend not to like it when characters are constantly changing with no real reasons. The same thing kinda happned with that Ally McBeal show, also on FOX (hmm I think I see the trend now :-P).

Seaquest DSV/2032
Brimstone

Angel (I'm still furious about this show ending)
Mortal Kombat Konquest
That 80s show
The Invisible man
The Chronicle
Max Headroom
Clerks
Encounters
Undressed
Witchblade
Good vs Evil
The misfits of science
The Critic
The Flash
Cleopatra 2525
The adventures of Brisco County Jr
Jack of all trades
X-men evolution (right when they started the age of Apocalypse story arc!)
Undergrads
Glory days
Brimstone
Futurama
Mystery science theater 3000

Also, I just wanted to add how more and more good shows are being cancelled to make way for crappy "reality" tv. Reality shows are the worst thing ever and I wish they would end already. Its to the point where I hardly watch any tv anymore, because all the good shows are gone.

One of the woman's networks? What the hell! I don't want to be watching this show on Lifetime or WE tv or whatever its called. I mean this isn't a show for woman, so it shouldn't be on those channels. They always show woman programming stuff about romance or about victims and whatnot, this show isn't about that really at all. They just better not edit it! I swear if they do then, well I will bitch and moan alot and not be able to do anything, but I will be furious! Anyway any idea of when they will start showing it? Lipshits(sp?) was the bomb.

I found it (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-34).
July 09, 2004

WE: Women's Entertainment has snatched up the exclusive cable rights to the former FOX drama as part of a four-year deal. The pact with 20th Century Fox Television includes all 81 episodes of "Public," including the two episodes that never aired on FOX. WE's run will begin this fall in a yet-to-be-announced time period. 20th had been looking to sell the series to local TV stations for simultaneous play on the weekends , however it now appears the distributor has abandoned said efforts.

Arandar

Gave up trying to sell it to local station to air? I might just be me but wouldn't it be wise to try to sell the show Boston Public to the local tv station in say, oh I don't know say BOSTON! I mean that seems like it would be the highest ratings right there, but I suppose I could be wrong. I'm just glad its coming to some station where I can watch it. I don't get why WE would "snatch it up" though considering its not usually like the other shows they air. I mean its not a show specifically designed for woman, its pretty much just an anyone who wants to watch show. Oh well its still good to know, now I just hope they don't put it on a crappy day and time when theres other tv shows I want to watch.

Well if you think about it they'll prolly show the episodes where the teachers boff the girl students over and over again. If it's on WE it has to deamonize men, so that's prolly why they got it. To show that male teachers are all pedophiles and scum.

Especially since they didn't know they were being cancelled until they only had 4 episodes left to shoot. :(
The ending was rushed and most of the season wasn't very good anyways.
It was a horrible way to end a great show.

Sliders was one of my favorite shows and it was sad when FOX decided to give the show the heave ho after the 5th or so season when the cromags began their takeover. I guess FOX decided to make it a trend to cancel Sci-Fi shows on their network (Firefly, Dark Angel, etc.) that didn't measure up to the likes of The X-Files.

BTW, correct me if I made a mistake on which season the cromags took over on Sliders.
