View Full Version : I found a doom 3 easter egg?

On doom3 there is a lot about martianbuddy.com, when you get others PDA cards and read their emails some have received spam from the "site" well there are martian buddy storage things with free stuff and soem poeple haev won, but you need the code, so I got off doom3, went to the website, and what do you know it works, and has a code on it. pretty cool stuff ID :)

I figured I might as well check it out, and if it wastn a site, oh well didn't matter I had to get off the game anyways to head out to work.

Yeah ID did a lot of easter eggs in the game, it's just a matter of finding them and seeing if you can figure them out (like the box art for Doom and on one of the stones)

I was going through and saw that. Forgot to save it though. We'll find more easter eggs and they will all be awsome.

i loved that thing... its uses the doom engine to do it... and you can see the doom guy's face.

It's right in the beginning of the game before the monsters show up. I found it while wondering around while my video card was overheading and probably melting to my mobo.

There is a PDA on the last level hidden, it has messages from everyone who worked on Doom III, found it by accident.
