Some people are experiencing problems with overclocked ATI cards an Doom 3, anyone else having problems?

Maybe they're running it at settings that their cards can't support.

Doom 3 seems to run a lil funny with ATI cards, maybe because it doesn't support Open GL as good as nvidia cards. Maybe future drivers would fix the problems.

It is rumored that the current drivers havent been coded to run doom3 at a mroe optimum level yet.

Nope, DoomIII was one of the few booths not to have machines supporting an ATI card. That booth and Alienware's are the two I know off hand...what can I say, I'm and Nvidia fan boy.

I know graphically it's not a match, but CoH did have some problems with ATI cards. Which is what I have, but a driver update fixed that no problem. Hopefully that's all this is, and if the drivers you need haven't been made yet, sure as hell hope they get moving.

i got the x800 pro and the game looks great! when i started it up it reccomended 800x600, but i put it to 1280x1024 and it actually worked with a very good framerate. Wow!
