God, I can't wait for this season to start!
Can Philadelphia FINALLY have another championship team? It sure looks good.
Forsberg will just get injured again at the worst time, especially playing that style of his in the already more physical East.

Finally, somebody who isn't Craig Conroy.
This'll bring some fans back to hockey down here. Especially since the Blue Crew can't even win the NL West.

It's a good trade. We're all excited here in Philly (but mostly about the upcoming football season) :P

Ironic how Peter's back...last time he was a Flyer, it was for that brief moment before he and a shit load of others were traded for that worthless peice of crap we call Eric "Concussion boy" Lindros.
Flyers' roster is lookin' good...can't wait to see the puck drop at the Wac Center again this year...been too damn long.

We lost Ziggy :( (http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2127508)
The Penguins are going to be a very interesting team to watch this year to say the least (and I have tickets to see the Lightning play them twice this year, w00t). Hopefully all this new excitement lands them a new arena deal.

It's absolutely awesome that we signed on Forseberg, but Roenick isn't exactly some dinky little trade off. Plus, we already lost Leclair and Gagne is gone too, I think, right? Something just gives me a bad feeling...
Didn't the Flyers also get Chris Therien and some two other defensemen? I know one was from Dallas, but I can't remember the other one...
Gagne signed a one year deal and the Flyers might look to get that extended for more years during the season because he will be an unrestricted free agent after that.
And yeah they also got Derian Hatcher who used to play for Dallas, but actually was with Detroit last season. That guy is screwed with the new rules though. He's gonna get burned often with the way he skates.

Good! I can't stand Forsberg. He ranks pretty high on my douchebag scale, right up there with Jarkko Ruutu from the Canucks. Yeah, Forsberg can score, but he plays like a whiney little bitch.
And yeah, I feel that strongly about it.
