Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers was reinstated Tuesday when arbitrator Shyam Das ruled that commissioner Bud Selig went was wrong to suspend him for 20 games and fining him $50,000 for shoving two cameramen, reports the Associated Press. Selig was very unhappy with the decision. "I strongly disagree with arbitrator Das' decision today," he said in a statement. "It sends the wrong message to every one of our constituents: the fans, the media, and our players."
Nice goin' Das, I bet your kids have zero discipline also.
This is one of the dumbest decisions yet. And this has to be one of the first times I've actually agreed with Selig.
If Palmeiro was only suspended 10 games for steroids then this is still unfair for Rogers.

Same arbitrator who reduced John Rocker's suspension from 75 to 14, and fine from $20,000 to $500.
It's pretty ridiculous. He got to play in the All-Star game, and he's only missed two starts. Yeah, that's real harsh. Wish I could assault people at my job.
Hope he's really rusty tonight.

did he even have a reason to flip out and attack media people? or was he just having a emo day

Completely unprovoked. He was acting like a douche because he broke his hand punching a cooler like a tough guy, and the cameraman must've looked at him the wrong way.
The Sox are rocking him now, so maybe it's all good.

yea, at least he got shelled last night. I still think it was one of the dumbest decisions in baseball though.

In his defense there is no rule in baseball thats says you can't be a moron.

When being a moron hurts the game, yes, there certainly are rules against it. You simply can not do anything to damage the game, and Rocker's actions certainly qualified.
Someone should not get a higher suspension for "assaulting" a camera man than taking steroids to improve their game. I'm sorry.

You're right. Roiders should get 50 games, at least.
