Looks like Sega is gonna try to undercut EA on NHL 2k5 like they did with Madden. Looks like it's gonna be shipped on Aug 31

I'll probably pick up this and NBA if they're both $20. I'm loving these cheap games from Sega.

Yeah you gotta give Sega credit for this campaign. if they take enough sales away from EA I wonder if EA will start their own cheaper games at release campaign?

They completely reworked the fighting system, so it looks amazingly real. From what the video on the official site showed instead of having your player locked in place and button mashing, you can actually skate around and get closer for harder punches or grapples.

Now the season just needs to start and everything will be perfect.

Hmm... I might buy it, I'll get NBA if they fix the camera issues that ESPN NBA Basketball had.

I'm excited about getting these for $20 too. I hate spending $50 on a game that will be replaced within a year. At my local Gamecrazy, they are selling ESPN NFL 2K5, ESPN NHL 2K5 and ESPN NBA 2K5 for $50. You only save $10, but hey that's $10 towards another game.

Yep yep, pre-ordered mine the day I saw that it was listing at $20. Big thanks to Sega, and company; for giving us such good deals.

What about a baseball game? Do they have a ESPN MLB 2K5? If so is that just as cheap and any good? I was never much into gettings sports games except for football and soccer sometimes, but now that these games are all 20 bucks I'm going to go get each one. At least for the major sports, football, basketball(if 20) and hockey. Then a baseball one if its 20 bucks to. That way with that money I can save I can buy FIFA which will be 50 bucks brand new. FIFA is by far the best soccer game out there I would say so its worth spending 50 bucks for is compare to 20 or 30 for a crappy one. I think ESPN's 2002 soccer game was made by Konami and that one just plain blowed. I hated it so much. FIFA 98 and 99 were better then it. The options weren't so bad, but the actual playing sucked, the ball handeling pissed me off.

Yes there's an ESPN MLB 2K5. I have it. It was only $30 at the time. Should be cheaper now.

I think the baseball game is staying at full price since they're ahead of the market from anyone else. I love their baseball games, I hope they do go down to $20.
