I'm going to a bunch of preseason games this weekend and already got my 12 pack a couple weeks ago. :-)

In other news, goal scoring is up so far this preseason..

Ahhh.. First game back in the St. Pete Times Forum in forever, and I get to celebrate a 5-0 victory against the Stinkin' Panthers. Feels so good, even though it's only preseason. :-)

Also they aren't lying.. The game is a LOT faster thanks to the rule changes and enforcement of obstruction! The Modin-Richards-St.Louis line was even more exciting than usual.

You're envious that he gets to see the Bruins live?

Wow.

Yep, good stuff indeed. I went to a preseason game last Thursday (second row off the glass, at the end of the Wild's bench). Can't wait for the regular season to get started now, as those are the same seats we have for 6 games this year. I'm also thinking about forking over the cash for the NHL Center Ice TV deal. Damn I'm glad Hockey is back. =)

I have never seen a hockey game in person.

It's amazing you are hockey fans without having had the blessing, because once you go, it hooks you even more and you realize how much you miss watching only on TV.. Err.. *stops rubbing salt in wounds*

I actually had the ultimate nosebleed seats for tonight's game. Literally the back row of the arena. But honestly there is no bad seat in the house. I still saw everything perfectly. I actually like the 3rd level more than the 1st level, which is where I'll be sitting tomorrow for the game against Buffalo. I guess the seat placement was random when they gave us these free tickets. Anyway, higher up allows you to scout players a lot better (I left impressed by some of our kids which I hadn't seen play yet).
