This afternoon Namco Hometek (thanks DigitalEntertainmentNews (http://www.digitalentertainmentnews.com/), announced that Ghosthunter (http://ghosthunter.namco.com/) has gone gold. Originally developed Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s (SCEE) Cambridge Studio, Ghosthunter revolves around the exploits of rookie Detroit cop Lazarus Jones and his partner, Anna Steele, as Lazarus tries to save Anna from a supernatural being after the two accidentally unleash ghosts into the world while inspecting a high school that was once the site of a massacre. With the game achieving gold status, Ghosthunter is now on track to ship for the PlayStation 2 on August 17th, 2004.
