Okay, I'm watching "The Spy Who Loved Me" at the moment, which is my favorite Roger Moore Bond movie, and this topic came up in my mind.
BTW, Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale don't count, they weren't EON/Danjaq productions.
Although I like each one's way of bringing Bond to the screen, Sean Connery wins in my book.
My favorite Bond movie is From Russia with Love, which is more like an espionage movie than the gadget-fests like Goldfinger and Moonraker.

Nice Topic! :)
For me my favorite Bond is actually Pierce Brosnan I think he makes an awesome Bond. As for my favorite Bond film I have to go with Live and let die.
Also the worst Bond/Bond film IMO is On her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby.

The best Bond was Sean Connery so I would pick any Bond movie with him in it.

You Only Live Twice is my fav Bond movie. Donald Pleasance as Blofeld. Although Goldfinger is a very close second. "Do you expect me to talk?" No, Mr. Bond! I expect you to DIE!"

Sean Connery is my favorite Bond but The world is not enough is my favorite Bond movie.
Also, I think Timothy Dalton got shafted. He was a good Bond and never gets any recognition.

My problem with Timothy Dalton is that I think he played Bond a little too low key. But I haven't watched those Bond movies in a LONG time, and I tend to be more forgiving over time. I mean, after Moore's last Bond, anything would seem low key, as Moore was playing Bond with rather broad strokes of semi-comedy by then. Maybe I'll rent those Dalton Bond movies this weekend and see what I see.

While Sean Connery was a very cool Bond, I think that Brosnan just embodied Bond way better. He had the look and the wit going nicely for him.
