I'm watching the original on sci fi and it surprisingly isnt bad besides all the typical 80's car chases

Well, The pilot episode has premiered, I thought it was fantastic.

I'm in for the ride... and I can remember watching the original miniseries in the 80s.
Not sure where they are going with this, but I'm in!
Oh... and BTW, the show goes on hiatus in 3 more episodes... so Elizabeth Mitchell will have plenty of time to go to Hawaii to film her Lost scenes.
