The NYC media is relentless not only against outsiders, but against people in The City. The Post is a step above supermarket tabloids. The best advice that Derek Jeter gives to any athlete is not to pay attention to the Media.

Not going to happen... The MLB players union (toughest union in all of sports) will never let it happen... There have been multiple times where the owners wanted one and the players threatened/went on strike... Unless they have a change of heart it won't happen...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

But seriously what an amazing series... The Phillies played hard and gave the Yankees a serious challenge; all the props to them and their fans... Matsui had a legendary performance and Pettitte might have pitched his final game (what a way to go out)...

The parade is Friday downtown and i'll be attending it...

Actually the ratings for this WS were at its highest in 3 years... And if you don't care about baseball why are you commenting about it?

Yeah, it was a pretty big deal for a lot of baseball fans, having New York vs. Philadelphia. Yankees vs. Phillies.

I just couldn't help but truly feel that this was one boring World Series. There just wasn't much excitement.
