Nope, designs are locked when they are sold. I'm not completely sure, but I think they are locked when gifted too. |

If you buy a design you cannot even take it into the paint menu to change the color of the wheels. All aspects are locked.
Same for a vinyls you get from storefront. You may apply them to your car and put additional vinyls over them but you cannot take them into the editor and change a color you don't like or remove parts.
Also, if you apply a vinyl, tune or design that you picked up at the Storefront to a car then you cannot sell that car. You can trade/gift artwork that is unlocked and that is the only way...and by gift that does not mean 0credits - it means the artist sent you the file.
This is why I asked if anyone would be interested in a logo exchange coop.

Ok so that has changed...I wasn't quite sure how that worked since I think in 2 you were able to buy a design and then use it on your own stuff if the seller allowed it, it seemed to be a checkbox somewhere if you wanted to lock it down or not. So now everything's locked by default?
