Video Games Live San Diego July 24th
I was thinking about attending the VGL concert in San Diego on the 24th of July and was wondering if any other Allgamers was also going and maybe we could have a little get together. Let me know if you can go or leave suggestions if you wish.

Count me in, I definitely want to be part of this fun event.
We've been talking about something big for years. Why not this?
Here's the ticket deals so far:

For those looking into airfare, here's some deals ongoing:

I want to partake, but a few things should be cemented first, so that people can co-ordinate.
1. Timeframe - when would people be arriving/departing?
2. Hotel - It's much easier if everyone stays at the same one. Cab sharing and meeting for various outtings will be less of a hassle. Also, it gives the people who live near there an easy way of meeting everyone.
3. Events - Anything else besides VGL to do as a group? i.e. Disneyland, et al?
Once the first two are established, it'll be much easier for people to make their arrangements or check on pricing to see if they can afford it.

Is that right around Comic Con? I might be interested. I don't live that far.

I wish I could go.......Anyone who hasn't seen the show yet, I would highly recommend you do. I saw it in Oct. and Jan. It's some of the best bang for your buck as live shows go. I saw basically the same show both times and was highly entertained each time.

Well, I'm going to assume this has fallen through. I'm glad I didn't invest anything into it yet. If PAX weren't during the last back to school shopping weekend, I'd go there to meet some allgamers, but I just know I'll have to work.

i remember last year at fanime in san jose it was happening right across the street at the civic center and one of my friends won a ticket in at some raffle at the con.
from what he told me, it's definitely something worth going to. i'm gonna try to go this year when it comes around the bay.
i can only hope that i can meet richard jacques or jun senoue afterwards. that would make my life half complete.

I'm already going to my local one in October. Unless there are a bunch of people going to this, and hopefully some of the "on-air" personalities going as well, I'm not going to commit. It's too much money to put on a "maybe".
